”Location is perfect, close to lots of things to do and see. The staff are all very nice and friendly, can't folt them at all. The room we stayed in could do with a bit of an upgrade in the bathroom and a freshen up but it was still a nice enough stay. Food was beautiful, dining room was very clean and nicely presented. Would highly recommend.”

”We had a wonderful stay here with our son, both sets of grandparents, and our dog, and it was perfect for everyone. From the moment we arrived, the first impression was fantastic. The spa was lovely and a great place to relax, and the food was brilliant throughout our stay. Breakfast was delicious, although it did take a little while to arrive. ”This B&B was great, just outside Bath. They had newly renovated rooms, very comfortable and bathroom looked almost new. Extra touches, like water bottle, bath products. Wifi worked well. There is also a restaurant/pub, but I did not have time to test their dinner menu, maybe next time! Breakfast menu was wide and very good! I would definitely recommend.”

”Spotlessly clean, fabulous hosts and stocked with everything you could possibly need. Reading past reviews I was shocked at mentions of the floors being cold. It's an 18th century cellar for goodness sake!!! Stone floors are part of the charm. It is cosy and warm at this time of year (and I imagine lovely and cool in the summer).I would definitely stay again for its location, its cleanliness and its hosts. Can't fault it except for the mattress, which is a bit "argos" and could do with a good...

”Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the hotel! The breakfast was delicious and the staff very helpful. I didn't have a chance to visit the pool and sauna however. Only item to note is the central heating system was broken the weekend that I stayed. The hotel helpfully supplied a portable heater, which helped in the evening. ”

”Family room 22. Pros- lots of free parking, able to eat dinner and breakfast if needed, nice sized family room, good shower. Cons- uncomfortable bed really needs new matteress, sofa bed needs replacing not at all comfortable. Staff noisey in the mornings in private room opposite. ”
