”Very peaceful, quiet setting, just what we wanted. The cottage was spacious, clean, and well equipped. Both bedrooms were lovely. The owners responded to emails quickly and were very helpful with whatever we needed. We really enjoyed our stay here. ”

”Luccombe Cottage ist einfach traumhaft - wunderschönes Ferienhaus in traumhafter Lage. Es war alles blitzsauber und liebevoll vorbereitet. Allein der Blick aus dem Fenster jeden Morgen ist die Reise wert. Auch die Umgebung hat viel zu bieten, Wanderungen im Exmoor vorbei am wilden Ponys, die Nähe zu verschiedenen Stränden, kleine Hafenstädte…einfach schön! Auch die Kommunikation mit den Gastgebern war sehr nett, auf jede Frage kam sofort Antwort. We hope to be back!”

”A spacious, very comfortably furnished large house. Extremely well facilitated kitchen with a beautiful, old wooden dining table. Views to die for! Minor points: GF bedroom off the dining area needs blackout curtains and its bathroom needs frosted glass.”

”The property is well situated for exploring Exmoor, both on foot and by car. A short walk takes you to Exford where there are 2 pubs and a teashop(the hub for star gazing nights on a Thursday). There is also a fantastic playground on the green. We were welcomed with home baked bread, spreads and a delicious cake. The cottage has everything, even towels for our dog. There was milk and butter in the fridge and plenty of tea and coffee. The garden is gorgeous and was so relaxing sitting in the...

”Beautiful home, comfortable, warn, spacious with a wonderful view and a special position. The kitchen is better kitted out than my own home, with everything you could need. I so much want to stay again.”

”Ein geräumiges Cottage für 4 Personen gut ausgestattet mit neuer Terrasse. Sehr ruhig und manchmal hört man die Traditions Eisenbahn. Gute Ausgangsposition um die Landschaft in Somerset/Devon ohne Stress zu erkunden. Vermieter sind sehr um das Wohlbefinden bemüht.”

”The cottage was perfect for our short stay in March 2024. Very cosy, peaceful, warm and well appointed accomodation in a lovely rural location.The hosts Chris and Freya were very friendly and on hand if required.”

”Good all round experience. All facilities on hand to make the stay a success. Just one issue and that is the tv hooked up to freeview. Very temperamental so needs updating. On occasions Had to use ipad to watch programmes. A small but important issue to resolve.”

”We had a great stay, lots of room for 2 adults and 3 teenagers (WiFi great), dog and kids loved the paddock to run around in, beds comfortable, table football great addition, Rayburn and washing machine appreciated to wash and dry clothes on wet days. Lots of walks just be prepared lots of inclines. Parking great. Local pub has good food.local little shop good for bits or a 20 min drive to minehead.”

”This house was an awesome stay. The layout is spacious for up to 3 couples (we had 2) and room to sit and visit. The town of Dunster is fun with shops and good food choices. The home is well taken care of and even though it is on the street, the car noise was not a problem. We really enjoyed our stay here.”

”Owner never sent code to get in which I didn't realize. You have to phone them. Shower very moldy at each end of tracks and very slippery. Generally dusty. Garage parking not very safe to access. Double yellow lines in front and not easy to fold open. I picked this because i felt my friend who uses a cane could visit but not so. Garage floor which you went thru to enter was cobble stones. Back entrance long path with steps.”
