”Lovely welcome on arrival. Rooms were dark inside which was fine for us but could imagine it might be a problem for some. Vanity mirror with lights attached didnt work, and when reported (more to report that we didnt break it, rather than get it fixed) reception was uninterested. Brilliant shower - possibly the best ive used in a hotel. No coffee machine as described but there was a kettle. When we went to get a drink on the rooftop we were welcomed in but not told that last orders was imminent...

”Nice and modern hotel close to the centre and key locations. Only negative aspect was the really loud music playing in the lobby, which makes it quite annoying entrance everytime you return to the hotel. ”The property is very close to the on-off bus which we really enjoyed. It is close to the York Museum which is absolutely a must see. We walked a lot in York and found our location to be acceptable. If you are not a big “walker”, then you might want to stay closer to the center. The hotel was great. The breakfast was very good. The valet attendants were friendly. Valet parking is kind of pricey but pretty average for our experience in the UK. Room was comfortable and clean. Would recommend...
