”It was difficult coming from Monmouth.It said road closed when you turned left at Aldi.Spent 15mins trying to find another route.Phoned the hotelier and he said it was blocked but you had to turn left and ended up in a narrow track with no passing room.Roadworks are finished next week.”

”We have stayed here before several times but this time was really disappointing. We booked an accessible room but on arrival we were told this wasn't available and we were on the first floor. It was fortunate my operation for a knee replacement was postponed or I wouldn't have managed the stairs (no lift). The first floor room was stifling as it was during the ongoing heatwave. No fan provided. We went straight to get a cold drink (having driven 200 miles we were parched). Ordered the drinks...

”We had a great one night stay at Berwick Lodge on a a Monday to celebrate a birthday. The sun shone and the Housemartins flew happily around whilst we sat on the terrace having a cocktail. The à la carte menu was fantastic - well worth the cost and breakfast was very tasty. Will definitely stay again in one of the other fantastic looking rooms.”

”This was the very best hotel and staff. The room was lovely. Staff were friendly, and they couldn't do enough for you. They would do anything in their power to make your stay a pleasurable experience. I would strongly recommend the stay, with the Marina literally two minutes away, and the town center a 10 minute walk away. My only problem was the food. It's not the best, and don't have the breakfast you'll be wasting your money, it has very poor quality ingredients. You'd be better off eating...
