”King Arthur Hotel was in a very convenient spot to explore the Gower. The staff were amazing, friendly, knowledgeable, efficient and helpful. The food was great and reasonable. Accommodation clean and comfortable. Excellent value for money.”

”Hotel is located in the quiet country site, only a short drive to Conwy. We have stayed only 1 night during our motorbike trip. Room was cosy (big enough) with big en-suite. Good quality finish with huge comfy bed. Very good food and service. Great back garden space for a coffe or a drink.Highly recommend this place.”

”Hotel is on a busy street (though room was quiet to the back)and no place to unload luggage, only 3 free parking spots- of course all gone- for hotel and restaurant. Paid parking few minutes to walk away. Room is ok, lots of stairs, internet is very slow or not working at all but for one night it was a clean and warm place to stay ”

”Lovely comfortable rooms with lovely big beds we stayed in room 5 which is absolutely massive with a nice very clean bathroom. Nice warm welcome and really friendly staff with great service. Overall highly recommend staying here as ideally placed to visit the nearby aqueduct plus Snowdonia is just over an hour away.”

”A comfortable Inn to stay the night, but as in all old houses, you can hear everything trough the walls. Like the busy pub downstairs or the other guest walking around upstairs. Convieniently close to the castle, but loads of narrow stairs, to get to the rooms.”

”Modern, clean boutique room. Helpful staff. Great food. Trivial downside - a couple of dining room windows cobwebbed with dusty blinds but wouldn’t deter us from staying again ”

”I recommend room 2. The bedroom was spacious and has a separate lounge with a sink which was very useful. Everything was clean and tidy. The food is excellent. We ate there every night as there seemed little point in searching elsewhere! There are two cask beers which were both in good condition during our stay. Not surprising as the bar / restaurant area was busy with locals and guests every night. Breakfast excellent too. Relaxing atmosphere. We’ll be back.”

”I often stay at the Old Barn. Always very friendly and clean. Breakfast is great. Good value for money. Unfortunately the occupants of the room upstairs were very noisy and kept me awake on this occasion ”

”Room was comfortable & liked having a little sofa as well. Breakfast was lovely. Great Vegetarian sausage. The jacuzzi bath, not sure if it was working quite as it should. Surprised bar and restaurant closed on Sunday evening. Will be happy to stay here again. ”

”Brilliantly located for exploring Beaumaris itself, but also an ideal base if you’re going off exploring. Staff are all really helpful and have great knowledge of the local area. We stayed two nights B & B in the Townhouse and loved it. Breakfasts are great and the evening menu was good too. ”

”Great sized room and bathroom. Was little worried about the possible noise from pub downstairs, but it was not an issue. Bed was very comfortable to sleep in. Easy to get in and out, even during early mornings, when the pub was not open. Very helpful staff. Good accommodation near the city.”

”Good value hotel about a mile from the city centre. Doors are all combination so there is no worry about losing the key. Room had to be reprogrammed but the staff did this quickly and cheerfully. Very helpful and welcoming.”
