We (me, my husband and our 15 year old son) had a wonderful stay at Villa Olmi in July. The place itself is really beautiful with little details. The gardens and pool area are very well maintained and clean. We had junior suite with own garden. The room was spacious and even the sofa bed for our son was very comfortable. Breakfast was versatile and delicious, especially the coffee was good; strong and hot. In the area, where Villa Olmi is located, there is really nothing. Luckily only short car ride to Florence central and hotel had shuttle bus service, which was convenient. Everyone at the hotel staff were really friendly and professional. One small thing only made me feel uncomfortable; at the check out there was added optional service charge to our bill. The receptionist clearly pointed that it was optional. This practice however seemed a bit strange. Anyway, we had absolutely great stay and would definitely come back to this beautiful hotel!

Good location. Only a short walk to the Uffizi Gallery (10 mins). Piazzale Michelangelo (for the sunset view) is across the river, and you can take the town bus from the side street by the hotel (bus 13) to reach the viewing point. Generally, this boutique hotel is decently simple and modern, yet offers maximum comfort — exactly what we needed. High-quality bathroom toiletries. Good room amenities, free to self-replenish from the common area. Our room is very spacious, featuring an original arched ceiling and a big window facing the middle patio with green plants and garden chairs — it felt like we were living in someone's old home. It made our 4-night stay very pleasant, like a home away from home. Staff are friendly, and night manager Paul was especially helpful, giving us his best local tips on where to dine and enjoy Florence like a local. We are truly grateful, and it made our holiday very special.

Superb hotel! A charming oasis in a bustling city. Highlights: pool, sauna, breakfast. The historic centre is about 20 minutes bus ride away, but it’s worth it! Buses run regularly.
