Wow! Absolutely glorious.
The property is in a rural location offering seclusion, peace and quiet amongst absolutely stunning surroundings of tree-lined hills. The property consists of two buildings, each with two bedrooms. The main building is very spacious and offers a large, open-plan kitchen, dining-room, living room area complete with TV and table-football table. The annexe is a smaller building with just the two bedrooms and bathrooms. The property is tiled throughout and was very clean. The beds were very comfortable indeed - this is our host's profession after all! The swimming pool was immaculate and contained fresh water from his own private well that was amazingly clean meaning that very little chlorine was required. This made regular swimming a breeze, and there was even a fountain, inflatables, goggles and lights for night-time use. Our host was SO attentive and the only thing that mattered too him was that we enjoyed our stay and were comfortable. He went out of his way to ensure that the citronella candles were lit morning and evening to keep away mosquitos and he topped up and cleaned the pool daily. He even let us use the pizza oven and stayed with us from 3pm until 8pm to ensure we had no issues. It was so efficient we were able to cook bread in it the next morning. To access the property you will need your own transport, however with our hire cars we could easily use the park and ride to visit Rome and we easily drove to Pompeii down the motorway. Overall: HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! :-)

A well equipped property in a quiet location
We had an excellent holiday here. The house has everything you need and more! Surrounded by fantastic scenery, the house is very quiet and the pool is lovely. The owner, Danilo, is very attentive and can't do enough for you - thank you!

Unvergessliche Tage!
Wir waren mit drei Personen in dem wunderschönen Anwesen. Wir hätten noch 10 Freunde mitnehmen können und alle hätten Platz gehabt. Es gibt ein Haupthaus und ein Haus mit zusätzlichen Schlafmöglichkeiten. Für uns war das Haupthaus mehr als ausreichend. Die Ausstattung ist großartig. Wifi, mehrere TV, Soundanlage, Kickertisch!!!, Tischtennis und alles, was man zum Kochen und Wohlfühlen benötigt. Der Pool ist einfach nur fantastisch! Man muss eigentlich keine Ausflüge machen, es wird nicht langweilig. Wenn es Wünsche gibt, ist Danilo sofort da und kümmert sich darum. So viel Gastfreundlichkeit haben wir bisher noch nicht erfahren. Für Danilo geben wir 10 Punkte!!! Ein wunderbarer Mensch! Tipps: Rombesuch, mit dem Auto bis zur Endstation der Metro C (Pantano, Parken frei), 24 Stundentiket kaufen (7€ p.P.) und ihr könnt den ganzen Tag Metro, Tram und Bus fahren. Strand: den Tipp gibt euch Danilo, unbedingt befolgen! Ci vediamo Danilo!

Lieber Karsten, vielen Dank für Ihre freundlichen Worte zu unserer Villa und für unsere Bemühungen, Ihnen einen Urlaub voller Spaß, Entspannung und Emotionen zu bereiten. Danke auch für den Rat, den Sie uns gegeben haben, zum Strand zu gehen, indem Sie die Autobahn ohne Kurven nehmen und Rom besuchen. Vielen Dank auch, dass Sie das Haus in perfekter Ordnung und Sauberkeit verlassen haben, aber Sie sollten es nicht übertreiben, denn der Urlaub ist dazu da, sich zu entspannen und nicht zu viel zu putzen. Heerlijke vakantie gehad
Een uur rijden van Rome, verscholen in de natuur, heerlijke rust. Groot perceel. Het huis is zeer goed uitgerust; het zal je verrassen wat er allemaal is. Voor alle leeftijden vermaak, goede wifi. We hebben speciaal erg genoten van zwembad en van de buitenkeuken met BBQ en pizza-oven. Heerlijk! Houd wel rekening met wespen. Buitengewoon gastvrije gastheer, die er alles aan doet je verblijf tot een succes te maken. Veel dank aan hem! Het was een heelijk verblijf!

Tolles Ferienhaus in ruhiger Lage
Das Ferienhaus befindet sich in sehr ruhiger, ländlicher Lage in den Bergen. Es ist geräumig und hervorragend ausgestattet. Unter anderem sind ein Gasgrill, eine Tischtennisplatte, ein Kicker und zahlreiche Gesellschaftsspiele vorhanden, sodass einem nie langweilig wird. Der Vermieter ist sehr freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit. Er reinigt den Pool und das umliegende Grundstück täglich in den frühen Morgenstunden, sodass der Außenbereich stets im Top-Zustand ist. Der Pool ist ein absolutes Highlight, verhältnismäßig groß und ständig mit frischem Wasser betrieben. Insgesamt ist das Objekt sehr empfehlenswert.

Liebe Tanja, Ich freue mich, dass Sie Ihren Aufenthalt genossen haben. In der Zwischenzeit habe ich einige Verbesserungen vorgenommen: ein weiterer ergonomischer Stuhl für den zweiten Schreibtisch, weitere Bücher in deutscher Sprache, ein neuer professioneller elektrischer Toaster zum Erhitzen von Sandwiches mit Hamburgern, 2 weitere Fahrräder und andere neue Gesellschaftsspiele. Ich habe keine Worte, um Ihnen dafür zu danken, dass Sie das Haus makellos und in perfekter Ordnung verlassen haben. Jeder Vermieter träumt davon, einen Mieter wie Sie zu haben . Vielen Dank.

Entspannter Urlaub in ruhiger Umgebung
Wir verbrachten zwei Wochen in diesem etwas abgelegenen Ferienhaus. Im Haus war es sehr sauber und es war alles für den täglichen Bedarf vorhanden. Die Betten waren bequem und die Schlafräume dank Klimaanlagen wohltemperiert. Um den großen Pool herum, der jeden Tag gereinigt wurde, gab es viele Liegen, eine Hollywoodschaukel und viel Wasserspielzeug. Zusätzlich konnte man sich sportlich betätigen, z.B. Tischtennis, Dart, Tischkicker, Ergometer, Mountain Bikes usw. Ebenso konnte man den Tag gut auf der große Terrasse ausklingen lassen, und mit dem modernen Gasgrill sich ein gutes Abendessen zubereiten. Unser besonderer Dank gilt Danilo, der immer freundlich und hilfsbereit war, mit Rat und Tat zur Seite stand und uns mit der einen oder anderen lokalen Spezialität als Geschenk überraschte. Wir haben den Urlaub sehr genossen und können das Ferienhaus uneingeschränkt weiter empfehlen.

Von der Hektik einer Metropole wie Berlin bis hin zur Ruhe einer Villa, in der 2 Hektar dem Gast komplett zur Verfügung stehen, wo man von niemandem gesehen werden kann, bewirkt es in den ersten 2 Tagen einen gewissen Einsamkeitseffekt. Dann fühlen Sie sich Tag für Tag besser, fast gereinigt in Körper und Geist vom Stress, der sich in den Arbeitsmonaten angesammelt hat. Das ist die Domus Mariae. Das ist unser Ziel, unsere "Mission". Und wir freuen uns, auch diesmal ins Schwarze getroffen zu haben. Es ist unsere Pflicht, Ihnen dafür zu danken, dass Sie die Villa sauber und ordentlich hinterlassen haben. Wir freuen uns auch, dass Ihnen unsere Spiele gefallen haben und haben uns dazu bewogen, mehr zu kaufen: jetzt gibt es 3 Fahrräder für Erwachsene, 4 Fahrräder in verschiedenen Größen für Kinder und Jugendliche. Ein neues Trampolin hat heute die Kinder der Familie, die dort wohnen, glücklich gemacht. Ein herzlicher Gruß und Dank Danilo und Maria Grazia

Just back from a really lovely break. Never stayed anywhere where the owners have worked so hard to make sure you have a lovely time before. Danilo was amazing, the location beautiful, the swimming pool very well used, and the whole week was a treat.

Thank you so much for appreciating our commitment to create a fun and relaxing holiday. In fact we had to work constantly every day to keep everything running on the property of three acres all at your exclusive use. From 7:00 am to 9:00 am, when we didn't disturb your privacy, we washed and disinfected the filter of the small robot that cleans the infinity pool and we sanitized all the ground to keep mosquitoes and wasps away. We are glad that you enjoyed the culinary specialties of the area and tomatoes from our vegetable garden. It is pleasing that you have enjoyed the new WiFi system that allow the fast and stable connection in all the property, the new playstation, the new HiFi sourround, the new smart tv, to browse the The Daily Telegraph paper just arrived from London ... But all this was not hard, it was a pleasure. Thank you for leaving the house perfectly clean and in order. !!!

The property is lovely. The pool area is fantastic, very clean and the pool itself is stunning.
Danilo is the perfect owner. We have never met anyone who works so hard to make your holiday enjoyable. He is available 24/7. We have no complaints. The only comment I would make is that people should be aware that there are wasps around the pool. They do not interfere with you in any way. When Danilo sprayed insect repellent, they reduced dramatically, therefore, I would ask him to do this if you have a phobia of wasps.

I thank you for the advice for the wasps. It was a challenge and a battle I won. It came a specialized company that has nested the nests under the roof tiles of the house. So I bought a powerful Electric Pressure Washer that destroys the nests.Periodically I carry out this operation and I can say that the war on the wasps is won! And this also to your precious advice! maison et propriétaire acceuillant!
Excepté un WIFI aléatoire et des piqûres de taons et moustiques dont il faut se protéger(sans doute dû aux orages que nous avons eu pendant notre séjour) la villa respecte tout ce qui est annoncé. Un grand espace, de nombreuses salles de bain, un billard, de nombreux jeux pour enfants(ps4, jeux de société...) bref de quoi venir se divertir en famille. A l'extérieur, un grand espace vert, au calme, au milieu de la montagne avec cette magnifique et vaste piscine agrémentée de multiples jeux pour grands et enfants. De nombreux espaces pour se détendre, manger, cuisiner. Nous étions 6 adultes et 3 enfants et avions largement de la place pour ne pas être les uns sur les autres. A à peine 1h de Rome et de la mer cette location est également très bien située. Cerise sur le gâteau: DANILO, le propriétaire: gentil, drôle, serviable, plein de petites attentions, réactif au moindre petits problèmes, prodiguant de nombreux conseils sur les choses à faire ou pas, faisant des visites....une perle, l'accueil à l'italienne!, les Français en seront surpris! Nous recommandons donc vivement cette villa, vous ne serez pas déçu, mériterait une 6ième étoile! Merci encore pour tout!

Cher David, je te remercie d’avoir laissé la maison très propre au début, je suis désolé d’avoir mis beaucoup de temps à nettoyer minutieusement tous les coins, les vacances au bas servent également à te détendre et tu as un peu exagéré! Cette année, comme vous l’avez dit à juste titre, c’était un été où il a plu tous les jours pendant deux heures. C'était un événement exceptionnel qui ne se produit pas depuis au moins 50 ans. Cela a provoqué la présence de moustiques et de guêpes. En tout cas, j’ai appelé une société spécialisée dans ce problème. Ils ont découvert sous les toits de la maison des nids, j’ai donc acheté un nettoyeur haute pression qui les a détruits. Évidemment, vérifiez périodiquement que vous ne sautez pas. Cette entreprise a également identifié la cause des moustiques: la stagnation de l’eau sur l’avant-toit et les eaux stagnantes dans les puits de captage, et le problème a également été résolu grâce à votre rapport. En ce qui concerne Internet, un éclair d’été a probablement endommagé le système. mais c’était l’occasion d’installer sur le marché un nouveau système de dernière génération à puissance maximale qui permet d’utiliser le wifi avec un signal puissant et continu sur toute la surface de la villa (2 hectares) et à l’intérieur de la maison. Et puis il y a beaucoup d'autres nouvelles que j'ai incluses dans l'annonce de la villa et j'espère que vous retrouverez si vous décidez de retourner au Domus Mariae! Danilo et Maria Grazia :) :)

Total peace and tranquillity
The spacious villa is well equipped with everything you need for a relaxing holiday The pool is glorious and imacculate with plenty inflatables to entertain the children and ample sun loungers for adults The covered barbecue/pizza oven area provides the perfect shade Overall would recommend holidaying here especially if you want a non tourist tranquil break away The owner is extremely helpful and made our stay hassle free will definitely return for future visits Thank you Danilo regards Paul and Lisa

Flott opphold
Vi var to familier med fem barn mellom 11 og 6 år, som hadde et fott opphold på Domus Mariae. Det var en mengde leker som barna kunne bruke både inn og ute, samt et flott basseng. Huset var moderne og hadde alle nødvendige fasiliteter. Vi satt også pris på at strøm og utvask var inkludert i utleieprisen, så det ble ingen overraskelser når vi skulle reise. Danilo gjorde sitt ytterste for at vi skulle ha et flott opphold, og vi satt spesielt pris på kokkekurset han arrangerte for oss. Vi fikk mye informasjon fra Danilo før vi ankom huset, og det var bare å spørre om vi lurte på noe.

Fantastic rustic charm with a great host
As a group of 5 adults and 2 children we have just returned from a fantastic 2 week stay at Domus Mariae. The accommodation offered everything we needed from bedrooms (4) to bathrooms (4)and a fully stocked kitchen with more items than you ever thought you would need.The rooms in the annexe are a little small but as we spent all our time outside this was not a problem at all. The house is reached down a bit of a country lane but you soon get used to it, as when you arrive you are greeted by tranquility an space. The only noise is from the various animals and their bells - cows, sheep, goats etc. Danillo was incredibly helpful providing as with information on the area but also lots of local produce, his Jam was to die for as was the fresh sheeps cheese and fresh eggs. Thanks Danilo for everything. He was always on hand if we needed anything, which we rarely did. If you stay here you must ask Danillo about the private pizza chef, Bruno. He came to the house to make pizzas and cook them in the pizza oven in the garden. A real feel of local authentic Italy, superb. Thanks Bruno. Do take some mosquito spray with you, there were quite a few biting things but that is what you expect in the country.

The most wonderful Villa near Roma!!
My family has had the most wonderful week staying at "Domus Mariae" . What can I say.... the grounds are extensive and private, the pool is a great size and fed from a well so no nasty chemicals! The Villa is luxuriously appointed with everything we needed as a family and as the walls are so thick the air-conditioning (provided everywhere) was simply not needed. Danilo was the perfect host and we now think of him as "our family in Italy" and will certainly hope to visit again. We loved our last evening enjoying the Prosecco Danilo and Maria provided together with the delicious pastries (and a healthy measure of G&T) Lovely place if you like tranquility and great facilities.....don't hesitate on this one Darrell, Kathy, Marc et Elodie
