Trail Lake Lodge
It is not fancy and the television wasn't working the first night, the restaurant wasn't open for dinner but the views were stunning. We had a really yummy traditional breakfast for only $10 a plate which was our cheapest meal of the trip. We aren't picky We were just happy to be in Alaska

Summit Lake Lodge
Such an amazing place. The staff, food, and proximity to wildlife/wilderness are all outstanding. Anyone looking to head off into the last great frontier should have a stay at the Summit Lake Lodge for a night or two. The perfect mountain retreat. The kitchen was well stocked, the beds were comfortable, and the hot tub was great overlooking the mountains. It was a really wonderful property. Highly recommend. The hosts even left us a homemade French toast dish for the next morning that was excellent!
