”Shared a room with three adults during Download festival. Pros: Hotel was conveniently located and everything worked well, staff were friendly and hot shower for everyone. Room was sufficiently spacious to fit three adults and their luggage during a 4 night stay. Cons: Spare bed (cot bed) had some sharp edges and was of course not the most comfortable sleep for 4 nights. ”

”This was our third time staying at Mackworth House Farm and, as ever, Peter was the perfect host. The room was clean, tidy and spacious with a beautiful view of the garden. Check-in process was quick, and Peter was on hand to answer any questions we had. The breakfast options were plentiful, and there was a lovely pub a short distance away for evening meals/drinks. Can highly recommend for those wanting to stay in and around the Peak District.”

”A tastefully and comfortably modernised pub in a somewhat downbeat village near the M1 and airport but surprisingly quiet. The M1 is white noise in the background. I couldn't hear the planes. Rooms in the pub's grounds were comfortable with parking right outside and the food was amazing, including breakfast. No soggy mushrooms! If I was a lone female traveller I would feel particularly safe here. Very happy that we broke our journey overnight and will definitely do so again. ”

”Basic normal rooms. Room service was disaster. Recommend to avoid it. Took time and you can get better prepared food everywhere. Location and the hotel itself is beautiful. Nice walks around the hotel area.”

”Third time in this hotel working three years and condition goes down every time. It is quite nice boutigue hotel, but needs renovation. Location is greate to go around Nottingham. Helpfull staff. ”
