”This was out 3rd stay at Westlodge: 2014, 2019 and 2024. We keep coming back due to its quality. It's obviously under new management since our last visit. We were made to feel very welcome by the hosts. Breakfast was lovely and of good quality. If I could give 4.5 I would. I just feel the standard has slipped since our last visit. ”It's a nice place to be on it safty is 💯 just need some renovations as everything is in older fashion ...like electrical plugs to chage a phone or alap top even a hair draier :otherwise place is clean and smart”

”It is a nice and affordable place. There are facilities for making tea and coffee, but that is about it, so I probably wouldn't spend more than one night. Very comfortable with a nice bed, clean and back-up torch for loadshedding. ”

”Unfortunately my first stay at a hotel on my home province was not great. They gave us a room that was basically in a basement. The worse thing was there was no power the room was duck and hot, it was not load shedding but an issue around the area. We ended up looking for accommodation somewhere else that had backup generators. So basically we had to pay again for another accommodation. Overall the place looks good and clean but being in a basement in the dark was a no no.”

”Bushbaby River Lodge was a great, quiet, peaceful play to stay in Hoedspruit. Everyone was very friendly and the setting is great. Be sure to have a rental car! The lodge is a very long walk from anything. ”

”Brilliant stay. Margrit was more than helpful and welcoming. She upgraded our room to Honeymoon suite. The room was beautiful, well furnished and the jacuzzi was a bonus. The service was very good from both Margrit and the ladies working with her. ”
