”Great location, beautiful room, communication was excellent but the best part was the shower. It was the most refreshing shower I’ve had for years, then to get out into the most luxurious towels felt like a real treat. The attention to deal really makes the difference. Thank you so much ”

”This is a classic quaint, village inn, excellent food, and very comfortable folksy rooms with loft beds. The proprietor and all the staff are super helpful and friendly. A perfect spot to hike directly to the best spots of Hadrians Wall.”

”We had a lovely stay in a comfortable room. We had a nice dinner in the bar which was warm and welcoming. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful and served with a smile. And the beer’s not bad either!”

”The ground floor apartment could have been cleaner and better equipped! The parking was tight, the upstairs neighbours were a bit noisy. The bed was comfy but would have been better if it was bigger as the rooms are quite spacious! Pet friendly.”

”A wonderful suite in the castle. The castle is wonderful. The staff are really friendly. An added bonus is the free tour of the castle, going into the history of the place and the owners overf the centuries. ”

”A very clean and comfortable place. The rooms were very nice and the beds quite comfortable. The bathrooms were up to date and there was plenty of hot water. The pub next door was very hand for a drink and breakfast in the morning. Very friendly staff. ”
