”Great location, beautiful room, communication was excellent but the best part was the shower. It was the most refreshing shower I’ve had for years, then to get out into the most luxurious towels felt like a real treat. The attention to deal really makes the difference. Thank you so much ”

”This is a classic quaint, village inn, excellent food, and very comfortable folksy rooms with loft beds. The proprietor and all the staff are super helpful and friendly. A perfect spot to hike directly to the best spots of Hadrians Wall.”

”Ideally located for Hadrian's Wall walkers and next to Milecastle Inn, we enjoyed one night's stay here. Very comfortable and we would probably choose to stay here for several nights if walking the national trail again. ”

”We had a lovely stay in a comfortable room. We had a nice dinner in the bar which was warm and welcoming. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful and served with a smile. And the beer’s not bad either!”

”The room was lovely and clean. Nice touch to have a coffee machine with pods. Still and sparkling water in the mini fridge. And a couple of packets of biscuit. The food in the evening was really good and the breakfast was amazing. ”

”A wonderful suite in the castle. The castle is wonderful. The staff are really friendly. An added bonus is the free tour of the castle, going into the history of the place and the owners overf the centuries. ”

”Stayed here while we walked part of Hadrians wall. Ideal base. Beautiful barn conversation. The owners left us wine , biscuits and scones on arrival which was lovely. Would definitely stay here again ”

”A very clean and comfortable place. The rooms were very nice and the beds quite comfortable. The bathrooms were up to date and there was plenty of hot water. The pub next door was very hand for a drink and breakfast in the morning. Very friendly staff. ”

”Absolutly gorgous hut, really quaint and quirky. Perfect bit of outdoor space with decking and grass for our dog. Lovely size hot tub and comfy bed. Stunning views and perfect location for nice long walks. Local pub does beautiful food on a evening. Only issue is that there could be a sign somewhere to advise where to turn off to get to the huts as we found it difficult to find. We had a lovely, relaxibg few days, we would love to return.”
