”We spent 2 days at this property in the middle of our 2 week trip to Scotland. It was just what we needed as we were able to relax, cook some meals and still get out to see the sights in the area. The accommodation was very comfortable and did indeed feel like a home away from home. The friendly dogs and ponies were a great bonus!”

”The cottage was perfect for our needs and made exploring Inverness a breeze as it was an easy 10-15 min walk into the city along the river. The stroll down to Ness Islands was a delight and we enjoyed the hospitality at the Waterfront gastropub which was a couple of minutes from the cottage. ”The house is located in a great location, just above the Market Brae steps, making it central to most places in the city center. The house is old, but very well kept. Two of the bedrooms are located on the second floor and a third, with its own bathroom, on the third. Stairs are a bit of a struggle, if you're not used to them, but not a huge issue. One minor negative is that there is a little bit of street noise from pedestrians on their way out of the city center after the bars closing. Usually...

”Clava Cottage was cozy and homey, or homely as they say in the UK. Gregor was an excellent host, communicative and responsive. The house had everything we needed and was comfortable. The wood burning stove in the living room was especially nice given the unseasonably cool weather during our stay. The location was walkable to city centre and an Aldi, a Tesco, and a Lidl. The cottage was an excellent home base for our highland adventures. We had a lovely stay.”

”Als wir angekommen sind, war das Haus stark verschmutzt und heruntergekommen. Die Toilette zeigte noch die Hinterlassenschaften des Vormieters. Überall im Haus war Schimmel, da offensichtlich nach der letzten Vermietung nie wieder jemand einen Fuß in das Haus gesetzt hat, um zu putzen. Auch die Betten waren nicht neu bezogen worden. Das Haus muss dringend saniert und richtig geputzt werden. Nie wieder würde ich es buchen.”

”Insgesamt war der Aufenthalt sehr schön. In der alten Molkerei war alles vorhanden was gebraucht wird. Wir haben von dort aus einzelne Tagesausflüge in die Highlands unternommen. Einziger und auch größter Kritikpunkt war der leicht muffige Geruch in der Wohnung. Ich bin nicht sicher ob es nur daran lag, dass es während unseres Aufenthalts sehr viel geregnet hat.”
