”Our family of 5 had a great visit to Munising. Everything in the property listing was exactly as promised with the exception that the second room with three twins had recently been converted to two. Kindly, the property manager gave our girls access to the bunk house which was greatly appreciated. My 11-year old could have stood at the little beach area for three days straight throwing rocks. ”This small, newer home was great…nice sized bedrooms and bathroom, beautiful kitchen and living room. Very clean. Well insulated so we didn’t hear traffic much at all. Would definitely stay here again!”

”Danielle, the host, was absolutely wonderful to work with. She was a great communicator and answered all of our questions, including providing spot-on recommendations. The house had all the supplies we might need, comfortable beds, lots of space to spread out, and beautiful views over the lake. This was an ideal location to explore Pictured Rocks and the surrounding towns. We would highly recommend The Pines!”

”Need many things to organize & finish. It is new & clean. Not ON the trail. The trail is assessable along a 4-lane highway. Trailer area is 10 min drive away. Problem getting hot water, not having correct room, no closet, dresser or hooks so could put anything away. Would consider again later in the future. ”

Please forget the bad reviews. This place is small but it has everything you need to have a great experience. Would I stay here again? YES! Highly recommended”

”This was exactly what my family and I needed to have a wonderful stay in the U.P. The cottage was clean and had everything we needed (washer/dryer were so nice to have also!!)We enjoyed fishing on the dock (caught quite a few fish) and my kids even completed a puzzle to kill some time in the evening. There weren’t really any neighbors during our time there, which made for a quiet and peaceful stay. Only complaint the amount of mosquitoes outside the cottage. Otherwise, this was by far the nicest...

”The lake is quiet and far enough from the touristy parts of the area to be peaceful and uncrowded, but close enough to stuff that you're not driving endlessly to get to civilization. The mattresses are super comfortable, and we really had everything we needed to just chill out.”
