”Staff was friendly and overall experience very nice. It was me with two teenagers and private room. Very basic, just as described. The shower was the only minus, because as it was attached to the roof, it was very difficult to wash downstairs. Good place to stay when viditing around Scotland. Would go again! Hotels.com says you can pay arriving but that is not the case. I got a message from hostel that i need to pay forward.”

Despite claims on the website about a quaint pub/restaurant and free breakfast made-to-order - there are no such services. Front pub/restaurant is closed and only has someone there if they are expecting a check-in. Inquires about the breakfast were met with a simple "Oh - we don't do that". No other explanation offered. ”Room was clean and comfortable. Stsff were helpful and stired ohr luggage forvus because we arrived early. It included a small continental breakfast because the hotel is under construction. Super close to bus and train station with a glass walkway over rails . Close to all amenities under 10 min walk.”
