”The hosts Phillip and Dee could not do enough for us, they were very friendly. The room was lovely and clean and refills of tea, coffee, biscuits etc provided outside the rooms for guests to help themselves to. The breakfasts we had were amazing, plenty of choice and beautifully cooked. There’s a bus to Whitby just near the house and many other places to visit nearby.”

”Really great room beautifully presented clean and comfortable the hot tub bath was incredible. Only negative was there was a dripping noise coming from somewhere, really minor issues overall amazing room would definitely recommend ”

”It had a nice lounge area. The main bedroom is a little on the small size with not much room to get round the double bed and the bedding smelt musty. One bathroom for 3 bedrooms? Overall ok but probably would not stay again.”

”The Nutshell is a lovely little place, perfect for a stay in Whitby. Great location close to the harbour and town centre. Very clean and everything you need, hob, oven and all crockery and utensils. Nice feel to the place, makes you feel like you’re at the seaside. Great communication with the owners. Would 100% stay again. I was there for a week and had a wonderful time.”

”We didn’t stay, the stairs were very intimidating and one of the handrails was too close to the wall to be of use.”

”Wonderful cottage close to Whitby and Robin Hoods Bay. Really cosy, spacious property great for families. Lovely log burner for winter nights. In a picturesque hamlet that is a 10 minute drive to the centre of Whitby. Wonderful views from the kitchen and great for star gazing from the skylight on the third floor. ”
