”The New Owner and Manager knows customer service and is a great cook too. Apologies, didn't get her name. Both our dinner and breakfast meals were delicious. We wish her well in her new adventure and we're sure the hotel/pub will continue to thrive in her hands.”
”The Wilsons Arms is a delightful hotel, in a hamlet, away from the hustle and bustle of Whitby.
The rooms were beautiful but one bin had not been emptied and one shower did not function properly in the evening. It did the next morning.
Staff were friendly and the pub had a wonderful atmosphere in the evening.”

”The hotel is in a great location, high up, with great views of the Abbey and the town. There are steps up to the hotel from the town or you can walk up the road (Khyber Pass). There is limited onsite parking which needs to be booked in advance. Room 2 was clean and had a new carpet and bed. It was quite a large room with a sea view. ”Nutshell is a really lovely little place to stay, ideal for couples and close to the town. There was a bit of noise on Halloween but that’s to be expected in Whitby - the other two nights were very quiet.
We’ll definitely book again.”
