Good quality breakfast but full table service for cereals & juices was a bit weird. Great location for walking into Whitby and good parking. ”

”The stay at Mulgrave Country Cottage was wonderful. A beautiful house and gardens, peaceful and tranquil. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and the breakfast was fresh, well presented and very tasty. I would highly recommend a visit and we will definitely be returning ”

”The location was excellent! I love the room and the staff was fabulous except for the bartender and person in charge on evenings! He was rude and unaccommodating. He’s a type of person that ruins a perfect evaluation! Everything there was perfect except for him, and I recommend that the establishment replace him. I saw him being rude to others as well. ”

”The property was beautiful, the staff was amazing and the fact that the cafe attached was both delicious and had outdoor seating was absolutely incredible… The only downside to our stay is that there was a huge youth field trip. The kids were probably about 10-13 years old and were terribly loud, running up and down the stairs, screaming and yelling in the hallways and the teachers didn’t do anything about it. ”Room was clean and comfy bed. Good location but the information about parking is misleading. You get a parking disc but these only cover you for up to 3 hours in the zones. We parked nearby for 24 hours which was £13.”

”Wow, what an amazing place to stay in Whitby. Foxton Penthouse was central for us to have coastal walks and to walk into town. The apartment was very modern and had everything we needed to make our stay go well. Once in town you can cross the bridge and walk up the 199 steps to the Abbey. Or get the hop on hop off bus. The costumes of people dressed up in Gothic clothes added to our stay. ”
