”This hotel is really special. Great Victorian ambiance. Amazing view of the abbey and bay. Do not expect TV but wifi is good. Loved the all antique decor. ”
”I didn't connect to the wifi do can't comment on that but the hotel is ifeally placed for the beach and shops but with quite a few steps and a slope down (there is a lift down to the sea front). Unfortunately, our room overlooked the car park but i imagine there are rooms that look out over the estuary and the piers”
”Just ten mins walk to town centre, few minute walk to north sea seaside, location is lovely. The room is clean, the bed is comfy, the shower has high water pressure which is good for after walking all day. The only one thing is kettle doesn't clean, some water left there when I check-in.”
”A lovely cottage in a great location. The cottage has everything you need and the bedrooms are a good size too. There are several uneven, steep steps walking up to the cottage so I wouldn’t recommend it to people who are unsteady on their feet. The owners left some biscuits and milk on the fridge which was a nice gesture. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again in the future when visiting Whitby.”
”Perfectly located for the harbour, the train station and the bus station we were very pleased to find The Little Angel. On arrival Wendy was lovely and very helpful and the box of crisps and breakfast supplies and fresh milk in the fridge was a lovely surprise. The ceiling is a little low in the bedroom but this is to be expected in an old building and we had no bumped heads. The bed was extremely comfortable. The sitting room is above the beer garden so you do get a bit of noise at night but...
”The Nutshell is a lovely little place, perfect for a stay in Whitby. Great location close to the harbour and town centre. Very clean and everything you need, hob, oven and all crockery and utensils. Nice feel to the place, makes you feel like you’re at the seaside. Great communication with the owners.

”We stayed in room 17, parrot room. Very large space. TV was obscured by 4 poster bed frame, would be better above mantle.
The room is by the front door, and the room above must be wooden floored as we heard a lot of footsteps/lpud thuds on the ceiling.
We paid £3 for a parking permit for the W zone, but didnt find a parking space so ended up at the leisure centre - 10 min walk away

”As a single traveller I felt very safe and comfortable in this very conveniently located apartment. It’s quaint and had everything I needed a 2 night stay. Extra comfy bed. Whitby is absolutely lovely. The host Amarjit was extremely responsive and helpful with all my questions. I highly recommend this property ”
