The property is beautiful and the staff is friendly. The location is excellent, and the beach is wonderful.
However, we had a major issue with a persistent sewer smell in our room. Although the staff made daily attempts to fix it, the problem was never resolved, and we were not offered a room change. When we checked out and asked to speak with a manager, no one was available. A few days later, the hotel responded that they had checked the room and found no smell, and offered us a discount for a future stay. Since we are not from Greece and do not plan to return soon, this solution is not meaningful.
For a 5-star hotel, I would have expected the situation to be handled with much more care and accountability.
