”Room was not cleaned nor were clean towels provided after our first night”

”Lots of parking and area was safe. Didn’t use the casino as this was just a quick stop on our journey. Room was comfortable and clean and hotel was quiet. There were no breakfast options, only coffee and tea. Price was very inexpensive and we would definitely stay here again”

”Front desk staff was not very helpful on check in and to check out. No maps of property available and no map given with directions to Santa Fe downtown. I found a map on the on the free brochure section. I also can not believe that a resort this big has only one luggage cart at the front door.”

”Sit Back and relax. A wonderful retreat in a stunning setting. The rooms are impeccable. Pool and hot tub area is spacious enough for privacy and families. The restaurant and snack bar have tremendous food and service. Ride horses, do yoga, hike, or just sit and enjoy the view.”

”The pictures that are shown on Expedia’s website must be back from 1960 when the place was maybe new I don’t know when it was established, but I would love to post pictures of what this place looks like now it’s out in the middle of nowhere no security run down disappointed doesn’t capture my feelings had I not been with two other women I would have left the property. I barely slept four hours. My advice don’t go not to this place anyway.”

”The property is very cute and like a resort rooms were comfortable and they had a breakfast you could purchase as well in the breakfast room. I liked it so much. I'm going to book it again tonight. On my way back through town.”

”We loved our stay here! The rooms are thoughtfully decorated and clean. The staff was so kind and attentive - we loved the daily breakfasts and sitting in the courtyard in the evenings listening to the birds. Very good location and walking distance to many areas.”

”There wasn’t anything I didn’t like about the property or the staff. The only thing I was missing was a fan noise and being able to make the room colder than 65°. Other than that everything was perfect! So quiet and clean, easy coffee maker. Feels special to stay there!”

”Charming hotel-real Santa Fe character. And the location? Half a block to Santa Fe Plaza! Easy walking distance to all the major sites—even for an old guy with a bum knee. Nice bar. Excellent restaurant on the second floor. Very friendly and helpful staff. Refreshing break from the cookie cutter hotels.”

”The hotel was lovely and our dinner in the restaurant was delicious. We had breakfast in the French pastry shop attached to La Fonda. Service was superb on the property. Unfortunately they are doing renovations to their bar area so things were a little chaotic in the lobby, but they did their best to accommodate.”

”The breakfast was great & the staff very friendly& helpful. Loved the location... easy to get everywhere. Even though a bit outdated it was clean& functional. I'd definitely recommend. ”

”Lovely Southwest ambience throughout the hotel and room. One of my favorites was that there are several outside conversational areas. We choose a double room with a fireplace which was perfect to “take the chill” out of our room! We could walk to everything!”
