”The room was very spacious and clean. Had all the things we needed, hangers, iron, kettle tv and sofa. Shower was clean and nice to use. The staff were excellent very polite and happy. Looked like they enjoyed there job and engaged with us well and helped us with any problems we had (we couldn’t get into the room safe after 2 mins of arriving) The area around the hotel was very nice only a 5-10 minute walk to the village centre which had restaurants, pubs, shops there is also a bus and train...

”Fantastic hotel. Great location and everything was great from us arriving to leaving. The staff were amazing and nothing was a problem whatever we asked for. We had dinner in the restaurant the food was exceptional. Everything including the spa was great. Would definitely return.”

”This hotel was probably state of the art 35/40 yrs ago.
It’s very well photographed but in honesty… it’s awful.
Rooms are worn out, carpets in places are threadbare. Bathroom had various it’s broken or loose.
In the evenings was a constant smell of over cooked vegetables that was very unpleasant.
Having spoken to locals it’s recently been taken over but it’s in need of HUGE investment
I (and neither will my colleagues) definitely won’t be staying there again.”

”Hotel looking very tired.
3 black bin bags and a broken cup remained in the corridor for 2 days and was still there when I left.
Booked a double room but was given one with 3 beds, window didn’t open. Nowhere to put any wash bags etc in the bathroom.
Bed was comfy and food was ok.
Be aware if you book to stay via a third party app like Expedia, the hotel will charge you £10 per night to park in the car park”

”We arrived at the property and we was not told about the ongoing building work going on at the hotel. There is scaffolding all around the hotel no views from the window due to a scaffolding dirty windows unsafe no locks on the windows meaning people can climb with the ladders and get into your room rude Bar manager overall experience very bad. This hotel should be closed down until the work is completed.”
