Home away from home
We had an amazing stay at the condo. It was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The bedrooms had great storage for our things and the beds were very clean. I am a very picky person and I was happy. The host Marc was by far the best host anyone could wish for when visiting a city. He communicated with us very effectively and left a variety of drinks and snacks. He even left us a card welcoming us to his place. We were in town visiting our son who is a freshman at Yale. We have traveled all over the world and I can honestly say Marc was my favorite host and this place is my new home away from home. Thank you Marc for making everything so wonderful for us.

The apartment was clean and spacious . Marc had it well stocked with some delicious treats and coffee/seltzer/ water. He was easy to contact , and check in and out were simple. The stairs up to the apartment were challenging but a good work out. We loved the patio to sit out in the morning or evening. The sunsets were beautiful. The only reason I didn’t give it all 5 stars is because the other people in the building didn’t keep their place as nice Marc and you could see their apartments from the patio. Would recommend the Penthouse and Marc.

Outstanding accommodation
The property is superior to others at which we have stayed. Both in our early 70s, we found Marc, the landlord, to be exceptionally helpful, the property was beautifully appointed and perfectly positioned for walking to Yale and the shopping centre. We will definitely be repeating our stay.

Great location near to everything
We really enjoyed out stay, the apartment was in a great location, close to everything and very safe. When we arrived it as already stocked with essentials which was really helpful as we arrived quite late. The rooms were lovely and the beds very comfortable. Amazing Bagel restaurant "Begelry" was 3min walk and was fantastic for breakfast. Would definitely stay here again if we come back to New Haven!

Completely satisfied with our stay
We've rented many properties through various well known intermediaries (including VRBO) and it usually boils down to the same things to make it a good stay: 1) quality of the unit itself; 2) quality of the neighborhood; 3) communication with owner; 4) ease of check-in/out etc. This property nails it on all accounts. The "penthouse" itself was very clean, has excellent natural light (even on rainy days) and is decorated with a cool MCM vibe. The property is in an interesting professional neighborhood (the building is primarily doctor's offices so very quiet) - we felt safe walking at all times of the day and night and enjoyed eyeballing the architecture of the surrounding houses. The communication from Marc was great. He was very concientious about getting us set up and ensuring all was well. Check in/out was seemess with the lockbox. It worked great for our family of 4. He also left a very nice assortment of goodies that the whole team enjoyed. The only caveat I would have is if you have mobility issues, you might want to re-think. Being a penthouse without elevator, it requires the ability to navigate several flights of stairs for ingress/egress. Not an issue for us at all but might be for some. New Haven is a cool town with interesting places to eat and has a very walkable downtown. Don't miss the museums at Yale or the hike from Sleeping Giant State Park (awesome in the fall). If/when we find ourselves back in town, I wouldn't hesitate to rent this unit again. Thanks for everything Marc.

Our new home away from home @ Yale
We were totally satisfied with this lovely penthouse accommodation. Very quiet residential street, easy walking distance to Yale campus and many fine eateries. Marc was super helpful and accommodating and we enjoyed meeting him in person as well. We are fit and the stair travel up to the third floor may a consideration for some, but it was great for us! We’ll being making this our new home away from home while visiting our daughter at Yale. Thank you Marc!

Great location, fabulous place, wonderful host
This cute apartment is conveniently located with respect to the Yale campus. Beds are very comfortable and the kitchen is nicely stocked. Marc (the host) is incredibly accommodating, even left snacks in the kitchen. I'll definitely try to stay here again if I return to New Haven.

Super cute and clean. Beds were comfy. Stairs were a lot if you have an issue with stairs but otherwise, fine. Great location to explore New Haven 👍🏻

Lovely apartment near Yale
I stayed at this lovely Penthouse apartment for 4 nights while visiting family in Connecticut. The check-in was super easy and Marc is a wonderful host. There were lots of snacks that Marc provided for a late arrival checkin and I sure appreciated him checking in with me the next day. Highly recommend this very lovely apartment in a safe neighborhood in New Haven.

Great apt!
Marc is a very good host. Responsive, responsible and helpful. The apt is is very clean, comfortable and well appointed. I had a long stay and everything went smoothly. The parking spot is good to have. I loved the location in the East Rock neighborhood of New Haven. Coffee shops, small markets and restaurants all a short walk away. 10 minute walk to Yale campus, 20 minutes to all sorts of shopping , museums and theatre. I would definately stay there again.

Urban Penthouse Paradise
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here during my college reunion. The townhouse was located close to the reunion headquarters. The host, Marc, was most accommodating and provided all details needed for our stay. The apartment is well furnished and equipped, and Marc provided some extras that were very much appreciated. We also enjoyed having breakfast on the sunny deck. All in all, a wonderful experience.

Stayed here for Yale graduation. It was within walking distance to the campus on a beautiful quiet tree lined street. Host was very attentive and the property was very clean and updated. We had a great stay.

The spot can’t be beat! The space is beautiful, centrally located, and comfortable. Marc was incredibly welcoming and made sure every step of our stay went smoothly. He went above and beyond to meet me and make sure I was situated comfortably with coffee, tea, treats and oat milk for a weekend return to New Haven. We are so appreciative.

Excellent stay!
We had a great experience staying at the penthouse. We traveled from California and it was the best place to walk into after a long day of travel — clean, warm, and homey. Marc provided helpful directions that made checking in and out a breeze. The penthouse is conveniently located near shops, restaurants, and the Yale campus. Highly recommend!

We really enjoyed the property. Easy walks to places. Very clean. We needed to be able to wash clothes during this part of the trip and didn't realize the machine was in the basement and couldn't be used during the day. A little inconvenient, but we managed. I would definitely stay again.

Perfect location for visiting Yale and New Haven
Marc was a lovely and responsive host. The penthouse is clean and lovely. Marc even had some nice treats waiting for us that were thoughtful and appreciated. It is as described. The location is fabulous. The deck is very nice although we were not able to use it a lot as it was very hot the week we visited. We had one person in our group with a bad knee. There are lots of stairs up. Laundry is on the lower level. Other than getting in more steps than we wanted the stay was lovely! Thanks Marc.

Wonderful spot in a great neighborhood
The 3 of us had a lovely week's stay at Marc's property. The penthouse apartment was super clean, perfectly located, and close to cute coffee places, markets, pizza places, etc. Marc was very welcoming, and left us snacks and waters...and most importantly, some excellent recommendations on lobster roll and pizza places. The East Rock neighborhood was cool, and was close to both Yale and downtown. Would stay there again in a heartbeat! Thanks for everything, Marc!

Beautiful penthouse apartment !
This was our second stay and as before, we are very happy with the apartment. It is beautifully fitted out and has a terrace which is perfect for sitting out during fine weather. The location is superb - not far away from downtown New Haven and is in a lovely green neighbourhood. Marc is a perfect host and is very prompt in attending to our queries. We will be very happy to visit again!

Wonderful short stay in a perfect location
My husband and I stayed for two nights since I was graduating from Quinnipiac. The building is very quick to get to from the parkway and easy to find. The apartment was absolutely spotless and Marc had stocked the fridge and kitchen with snacks and drinks. There is everything needed to cook, however we didn't cook, only made coffee. We walked to the best Thai restaurant we've ever been to and to have bagels at Bruegger's. The apartment is very quiet. There's a lot of variety for food and drinks. Marc was very communicative from start to finish. We would stay here again for sure!

A lovely semester
My flatmate and I stayed in this apartment for our entire Zoom-based spring semester, so we spent a lot of time in this apartment (and never got sick of it)! The location is great -- right next to the Yale SOM, so quite central to campus, but also in the quiet and safe East Rock, right next to many stores and cafes. The apartment itself was also lovely and looked exactly like the pictures. The kitchen was fully stocked with almost all of the supplies we needed to cook for ourselves for three months. As a host, Marc was very accommodating (bought us a starter lot of groceries, noticed the outdoor umbrella was getting old before we arrived so replaced it during our stay, and regularly checked in to make sure we were doing alright). All in all, staying in this apartment was a highlight of the semester!

I greatly enjoyed my stay. Marc, the owner, is a pleasure to work with. He thought of everything and even stocked the refrigerator! The location is great for walking to get coffee and bagels in the morning or Italian food at night. Overall great experience.

Second time here and we already rebooked another stay!
We just love this sweet condo in New Haven. Marc truly understands what it means to be an excellent host. The condo was spotless upon arrival and Marc even provided yummy snacks and beverages. We stay almost exclusively stay at VRBO properties when we travel because we like the “home-like” feeing. I have never had an owner reach out to let us know another guest was not immediately checking in after us. We were pleasantly surprised when unprompted, Marc invited us to stay a few extra hours on our last day. It made our morning so much less stressful as we were able to enjoy breakfast and pack at a leisurely pace before heading to the airport. Thank you Marc! We have already booked our stay for this same time next year and look forward to coming “home” to your place in New Haven.

This is a lovely place. We experienced condo covetousness. Because we had two cars, the owner went the second mile, arranging for us to have access to an extra parking place that a neighbor in the building was not using over the weekend.

Lovely Penthouse Apartment
Lovely apartment stylish interior on the edge of Yale. Marc thoughtfully provides every amenity, even delicious local snacks. Great outdoor patio and seating, with beautiful views. (Note to other travellers there is 2 access to property one is via steep, iron staircase at the back, the other is through the front door and more suitable for anyone with mobility problems but it is a penthouse so several floors up!)

Comfortable, lofty pied a terre near Yale
We stayed here for reunion weekend at Yale and enjoyed the apartment very much—stylishly updated with exposed brick walls and high ceilings, lots of light and a terrace with views. Not extra large but nicely laid out to be comfortable, not cramped. Very clean, great shower and very comfy mattress. Marc is super attentive and leaves the apartment well outfitted with snacks and kitchen essentials. Particularly well located for Sciences and school of management but easy walking distance for all of campus. We would definitely stay here again!

258 Bradley Street is a lovely spot and Marc is a gracious host. The apartment is chic and comfortable and the amenities are everything you might need and more. Excellent location. It was the perfect place for us to stay for graduation weekend and ideal for any New Haven stay.
