”We needed somewhere to break our journey back from Scotland and this was ideal for a family of four and not too far from the A1. We also chose it partly as it was dog friendly but a change of plan meant we didn’t actually have our dogs with us after all. But the provisions for visiting dogs were a nice touch. Also a welcome pack of milk, juice and biscuits f(for us) was well received.”

The host was extremely communicative and checking in and out was very simple. The road the house is in is very quiet and accessible, and it is easy to travel to nearby villages and towns from where it is located. Would thoroughly recommend staying here”
