”Great location very quiet we found our room ( Heather )was very small with furniture over hanging the bed near to your pillow and you had to be very carefull when getting up in the night as the gap between the wardrobe and bed was very tight.”

”Our room, on the first floor, was excellent with lovely views. The food was of a high quality and the service was very good except on one of our three evenings when we were forgotten about and it took at least three complaints to get our meal started. On this occasion we were in the restaurant for about two hours and it took 45 minutes before we got our starter. This was a shame because otherwise everything was perfect.”

”Great breakfast, awesome for hikers with dry room and packed lunches. We messed up hiking without reception and they'd thoughtfully left out keys for a late checl in.”

”Spent one night in the hotel. The hotel is situated by a lake and the surroundings are pretty. We were pleasantly surprised when we got upgrated for a better room. The room was AMAZING: big, clean, had a luxury feel to it and lovely view to the lake. The cooked breakfast was tasty and staff friendly. Only downside was that there was no dinner served. Would love to stay in this hotel again :)”

”This is the 2nd time we have stayed at Amthweight Hall, the accommodation was excellent, as was the staff, they couldn't do enough for you. The breakfast was 10 out of 10, and again, very helpful, as my wife wanted her coffee a paticular temperature, and strength, they bent over backwards to make her perfect cup of coffee !! The grounds and the building, are kept immaculate. The Spa facilities, again 10 out of 10, gym, sauna, steam room, plunge pool, swimming pool and outside hot pool, plenty...
