”We booked this for a family birthday weekend and it was perfect. The location is amazing, right on the water, but also on a quiet street. The check in process was easy. The house was very clean. We had family over and they loved it. There is plenty of room for guests to visit. It’s so peaceful! We did not want to leave! Thank you for a wonderful birthday weekend!”

”We rented this property with some friends. There is a semi-private creek, and you can walk to a waterfall and swimming hole. It was just beautiful. I say semi-private because there were very few people there each time we walked it. The gardens were also lovely. We rented both the main house and the guest house. Both were very nice. ”We had no heat due to a broken furnace in December-the owner did bring a space heater, but that blew a fuse, not a relaxing time. We had a group of seven, so we could not find another place to stay short notice. We also found old coffee left in the coffee pot. The location itself was nice and the lake was beautiful!”

”Location was amazing, house was clean and roomy. The only bad thing was the parking garage . It’s not too close to house and instructions to open it were never conveyed through the email . We had to contact maintenance to see how to work the garage doors . They did answer promptly. Overall it was a pretty view and relaxing atmosphere.”

”This was a great tucked away spot behind a vineyard. It was cozy and great access to the lake. It was smack in the middle of many wineries and 15 minutes to watkins glen. There is no air conditioning but fans were supplied. It is supplied with well water. Bring your basic cooking supplies oil, butter and seasonings. ”

”This is a beautiful property. Unbelievably serene, gorgeous lake view from the house. We were here in the winter; getting in and out of the place was a little scary in precipitation. The road from the ridge down to the lake is quite steep. The house itself is beautifully kept, a perfect layout, and we enjoyed cooking in the beautiful kitchen and fires in the fireplace. Highly recommended!”

”The house clean and details provided about the listing were very accurate. My wife enjoyed jetted tub. Location was excellent and easy to get following directions and information about the roads near cottage. The fenced in yard for dogs was very convenient . We only stayed one day and it rained but would be an excellent spot to view a beautiful sunset that the area is known for . ”
