This place was absolutely amazing. The pictures shown and the pictures I took couldn’t do it justice. Our host, Muriel, was gracious and always available, if needed. The location was central to everywhere we wanted to go, including Nice Downtown, Antibes, Cannes, Monaco and even Italy. I would highly recommend any large family that wanted to stay in once in a lifetime opportunity sanctuary.

Een fantastisch huis om ver buiten de drukte van de kust een heerlijke vakantie te hebben. Het huis en met name poolhouse/ buitenkeuken en zwembad bieden zeer fijne ontspanning. Pannen, servies, bestek, glaswerk, keukengerei, koelingen; alles is in zeer ruime mate aanwezig.Eigenaren makkelijk bereikbaar en uitermate vriendelijk. Huis ligt wat afgelegen, hierdoor heerlijk rustig, echter heb je overal een auto voor nodig. Wifi in huis is uitstekend, maar niet continue toereikend in het poohouse. Verder een absolute aanrader!!

Ein großes Grundstück mit Outdoorküche und riesigem Pool, ruhig gelegen.Blickfang ist im Garten ein kleiner Teich mit Koi-Karpfen.Das Haus ist großzügig und liebevoll eingerichtet.Symphatische Vermieter, sie waren jederzeit für uns erreichbar.

Wunderschöner Garten

Wir waren anlässlich des Ironman 10 Tage in der Region und hatten uns das Haus von Myrielle und Fabien gemietet.Wir wurden mit kalten Getränken und Früchten willkommen geheißen und haben uns sofort in das liebevoll gestaltete Grundstück verliebt. Es gibt unzählige Terrassen die zum Verweilen einladen, sonnige und schattige Plätze, einen Teich, alte große Bäume, einen Teich mit Koi Karpfen und vieles mehr.Das Haus ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, hat aber dadurch viel Charme und ist sehr gut ausgestattet.Ein besonderes Highlight ist die große Sommerküche mit gemauertem Grill, Pizzaofen, Gasherd, einem weiteren Kühlschrank und mehr am großen und tiefen Pool.Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Nice La Gaude 2024 Ironman World Championship

Wir haben uns alle sehr wohl gefühlt. Leider war das Wetter nicht so schön wie erwartet. Wir haben uns ein paar schöne Tage gemacht. Die Außenküche war unser Highlight, der Pool einfach herrlich. Sehr nette Vermieter, die sich sofort kümmern wenn etwas ist. Vielen Dank noch mal.

Leuk Gezellig huis

We hebben met het gezin genoten van dit huis! Heel leuke tuin met verschillende hoekjes om te zitten en te ontdekken! Groot zwembad met buitenkeuken aan! Het huis was wel al ouder en had wat mankementjes maar dat deed niet af aan het verblijf daar! De gastheer en vrouw waren super vriendelijk en heel begripvol!!

Très belle villa ! Magnifique jardin zen en arrivant, très grande piscine, les propriétaires sont adorables. Nous avons séjourné 5 jours dans cette villa et y retournerons sans hésiter.

A very nice stay

We have really enjoyed our stay at the house. Especially the outside facilities were very nice and we spend most of our time in the lovely garden, in the large swimmingpool and in the outdoor kitchen/lounge. We can highly recommend a visit :-)

Château de conte de fées

Ein wunderbar romantischer Garten mit vielen verschiedenen Ecken, ein herrlicher Pool mit Aussicht auf die umliegenden Berge, eine hervorragende Außenküche und eine historisch anmutende Villa haben uns in La Gaude erwartet. Das Anwesen ist etwas abgelegen und daher angenehm ruhig, die Besitzer sind hilfreich und freundlich. Die Einrichtung ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, trägt damit aber zum besonderen Charme der Villa bei. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und bedanken uns ganz herzlich hier willkommen gewesen zu sein.

Magnifique séjour

Nous avons été très bien reçus à notre arrivée, la maison est superbe et le jardin un vrai havre de paix. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour en famille. La piscine, la cuisine d’été et le petit étang (avec de magnifiques carpes) nous ont aussi beaucoup séduits. Absolument rien à redire si ce n’est que nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir !!! :)

What a spot!

We had a wonderful time staying at the villa in La Gaude! It is located in an incredible spot, perched up on a dramatic hillside. The villa and pool made us feel like we were in a movie! The house is funky and has a lot of spirit. Some of the spaces/bedrooms aren’t massive, but we all felt very comfortable. My parents are a little older and stayed on the ground floor while some of the younger folks stayed in the upstairs bedrooms. The property is very intricate with tons of amenities and surprises throughout. From the koi in the pond and resident cat, to the many different locations to find solitude.. we loved it. And although it isn’t in Nice proper, it was very easy to get around with a rental car. If we find ourselves in the area again, we would definitely return. Thanks!

Magnifique villa

We spent our holiday at the beautiful villa in la Gaude. We are two families (4 adults and 4 children). Fabian and Muriel are very friendly, helpful and act and communicate in an uncomplicated way. The villa is very big. There are 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms a living room, 2 dining rooms, a kitchen and huge windows, so you have a great view to the garden und the pool. There is also enough space in the garden with lots of possibilties to have a seat and calm down. At the outdoor kitchen you can find everything you need for a pleasant holiday. There is a fridge, a barbecue, a stove, a sink, kitchen, pots, pans, a machine for ice cubes, a Nespresso coffee machine (also another one indoor)... Indoor also enough dishes and cutlery, fridge, dish washer, oven... Outdoor in the tool shed there is a washing machine, a tumble dryer, a freezer and a hoover. The pool is very big. Rarely you find such a big pool. There is also a pond with fish, a table to play ping pong (rackets and balls included), an area where you can play boule and many possibilties to sit (lounges, tables and chairs). There is also a place where you can take a seat with sea view. I really missed nothing and enjoyed my holiday. We also made trips to Grasse, St. Paul de Vence, Nice, Cannes, Antibes, Monaco, St. Tropez and even Marseille. The villa is well located. Very nice location to spend your holiday. Toller Familienurlaub in einem herrlichen Anwesen

Wir haben unseren Urlaub in der ruhig gelegenen Villa La Gaude mit dem traumhaften Garten, dem großen Pool und der super Außenküche sehr genossen. Da leider nur das offene Wohnzimmer und ein Schlafraum klimatisiert sind, haben zwei unserer Kinder im Teenager- u. jungen Erwachsenenalter im Wohnzimmer genächtigt statt im offenen Schlafraum unter dem Dach, da dort an Schlaf nicht zu denken war. (in unserer Urlaubswoche war es die ersten Tage sehr heiß) Ein Doppelbett (Queen-Size) war außerdem für 2 größere Personen zu schmal (die Zimmerdecken u. Türstöcke sind ebenso zum Teil recht niedrig), aber für das Wetter und unsere Körpergrößen können die Vermieter nichts.😉 Dies sind aber auch die einzigen negativen Punkte, ansonsten kann ich mich den sehr guten Bewertungen meiner Vorgänger nur anschließen. Das gesamte Anwesen ist super ausgestattet, vom Eiswürfelbereiter über Küchenmaschine und Salatschleuder ist alles vorhanden, wir konnten sogar für unsere Tochter einen Geburtstagskuchen backen. Auch durften wir reifes Gemüse und Kräuter aus dem herrlichen Garten ernten, Gewürze, Zucker etc. waren in der Küche ebenso vorhanden. Zur Begrüßung standen schon 1 Flasche Wein und mehr Getränke bereit, was uns sehr freute. Vielen Dank den netten Besitzern Muriel u. Fabien für die tolle Urlaubswoche, die Empfehlung des Restaurants zur Feier des 18. Geburtstages unserer Tochter (das Essen und das Ambiente waren bestens) und die Gastfreundschaft, wir werden die Unterkunft gerne weiterempfehlen!

Vacances paisibles dans somptueuse maison avec piscine

Nous avons passé 10 jours au top dans cette magnifique maison très bien équipée. Une cuisine extérieure complète, une grande piscine profonde (3,30m) idéale pour les adolescents ! 4 chambres et une clim pour les moments chauds ! Nous avons énormément apprécié nos hôtes toujours présents en cas de besoin. Excellent séjour

Perfect house

We stayed a family of 5 and we all loved it. The house is very nice with aircon in most of the rooms and week eqipped kitchen. The garden was very nice with fish pond, petanque, table tennis and vegetables we cold just take for dinner. Many small cosy corners in the garden with table and chairs. The owners of the house are very friendly and they welcomed us with beer and wine - so nice! The swimming pool is large and clean - and we loved the outside kitchen next to the pool. We spent most of the time there. We can only recommend this.

Wir verbrachten eine wunderbare Woche in La Gaude. Das Haus ist charmant eingerichtet und der Garten ist ein absoluter Traum. Es hat zu jeder Tageszeit einen Schattenplatz oder man benützt den grossen Pool zur Abkühlung. In der Aussenküche hatten wir vor allem den Pizzaofen genossen. Abgelegene Location in einem ruhigen Quartier mit zwei Parkplätzen auf dem Gelände. Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und fühlten uns sehr wohl.

Magical property in a great location!

Our family had the most wonderful experience staying in this villa. The hosts Fabien and Muriel were very responsive and welcoming....Fabien even drove out to find me when I got lost on the way to the house (side note: if you use an iPhone, don't trust the directions on the maps app...it sent me to an incorrect location about 2 km away from the actual location). La Gaude is a beautiful community in the hills above the coast. The garden at this villa is like staying at a resort...a beautiful pool, a great outdoor kitchen area, and landscaped grounds that even includes a koi fish pond! The interior of the home is well-decorated and spacious. My family really enjoyed the pool and the large outdoor area...there are 5 different table areas outside...we enjoyed moving around...breakfast at one table, dinner at another. The home is located within a short drive (20-60 minutes) to most attractions in the Cote d'Azur. Overall, this is a fantastic, well-located property. Highly recommended!

A Haven of Tranquility and French Charm - An Absolute Must!

Rating: ★★★★★ Staying in the delightful villa in La Gaude, France, was nothing short of a dream. Our experience was unrivalled, picturesque views, and a unique taste of French living that made our trip unforgettable. Our hosts, Muriel and Fabien, were the epitome of warm hospitality and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. The villa itself is situated in a tranquil location, nestled within the mountainous landscapes of La Gaude. The meticulously manicured gardens served as a visual treat with extensive areas for dining and unwinding. One can easily while away hours in so many different garden areas, perfect spots to sip your morning coffee or enjoy a balmy evening with a glass of rosé. The swimming pool was an absolute standout - a brilliant oasis that boasted a massive pool for proper swimming and with a 3m depth, it was great for playing games and providing a much-welcomed relief from the summer day time heat. An absolute highlight was the impressive outdoor kitchen and dining area, replete with a log-fired pizza oven. The beautiful al fresco setting, coupled with the novel experience of creating our own authentic wood-fired pizzas, added an enjoyable dimension to our culinary adventures. The interior of the villa had its own charm. Muriel’s artwork, displayed throughout, added a personal touch that transformed the space into more than just a holiday rental. Our feline companion was the icing on the cake. A magical stay in a beautiful place.

Rêve devenu réalité

Notre rêve d’une villa avec piscine privative a été exaucé par cette location. La piscine a dépassé nos attentes par sa taille et sa profondeur, parfaite pour les plongeons et les jeux de nos 3 ados. L’aménagement du jardin est très beau et invite à la rêverie. La cuisine d’été était fort agréable et malgré l’interdiction de barbecue à cause de la sécheresse, la plancha mise à disposition a très bien fait l’affaire. La maison avait tout ce dont nous avions besoin pour nous sentir à l’aise. L’air conditionné étant un bienfait par ces chaleurs afin de pouvoir passer de bonnes nuits. Nous ne pouvons que recommander cette villa très personnelle. Nous avions l’impression que des amis nous avaient invités dans leur foyer. Nous y retournerions sans hésitation! Un grand merci à nos charmants hôtes

Maison joliment décorée avec un jardin exceptionnel

Séjour d’une semaine en Famille exceptionnel. Les propriétaires Fabien et Muriel sont des gens très accueillants et sympathiques. Leur maison est décorée avec beaucoup de goût dans un jardin proche du paradis où règnent en maître sérénite et quiétude. Dans cet espace, même les deux chats des propriétaires sympathisent avec les carpes et poissons rouges d’un petit bassin où l’eau ruisselle en permanence, ce qui contribue à l’apaisement total. Pour les citadins nostalgiques de la vie et activité plus urbaines et/où de l’ambiance des plages en bord de mer, celles-ci peuvent être aussi accessibles à 25-35 min en voiture . Bref, tout est réuni pour passer d’inoubliables vacances en famille .
