”Such a lovely spot for a stormy weekend. The king rooms were clean and comfy! Loved watching the wildlife around and all the natural light in the room. They even set up a fire for us and we were able to make smores:) ”

The room was dark, and I was still able to see that it had been a long time since someone dusted or looked at the top of the curtains. The cobwebs appeared to have been there for a very long time. ”

”The room was clean and cozy, and we really appreciated having access to both a pool and a hot tub. The indoor pool was heated, which made it even better because we were able to enjoy some fun swimming. They also offered a complimentary breakfast with a good variety of options, including waffles, bagels, English muffins, cereal, oatmeal, eggs, and sausage. On top of that, the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Overall, we had a great experience and I would definitely book this hotel again.”

”Our room was on the second floor. My husband is disabled. Came to find out the owner had not maintained the elevator for 4 years because he’s too cheap to apply for inspection it has to be fixed. Room sleeps 3 and the bed had no blankets sheets or pillows. The very kind kitchen prepper( no staff on hand and no WiFi info) got us a blanket that had a bowling ball size hole right in the middle. The all paper was peeling on all walls and corners. Room 205. I had to make four trips up 2 flights with...

”This is a wonderful hotel, large rooms, great amenities, and a personable and caring staff. The near new spa/hot tub is clean and a nice surprise. I was totally impressed. And the “vibe” with the staff is upbeat and refreshing in this era of impersonal support teams. Their young but very capable desk manager “Happie” was a delight going over and beyond in helping me with a few issues that arose. So great to find an affordable hotel with so many things that set it apart. ”

”Wonderful hotel, beautifully restored. The service was top notch. We couldn’t get a reservation at Blue Wings Saloon nearby for Valentine’s Day, and the owner / manager made it happen for us - which was a welcome treat after a long day of travel. Will definitely stay again, here or at any other property of this group.”
