”I reserved 3 rooms at this location. The hotel had plenty of parking in a nice and safe area well lit.
The hotel rooms were a nice size however the carpets in the rooms were dirty.
Upon entering the room it was clean however it had a smell and immediately I knew it was the carpet. I held a smell like wet sneakers. I accidentally walked on the carpet without slippers and was totally disgusted 😑.
Consider removing the carpet.”

”I understand that most hotels ask for a credit card for incidentals, but I had packed my credit cards somewhere in my suitcases. I told the gentleman that and my expectation was that he would complete my check in and I could give it to him once I unpacked. He DID NOT. I was forced to go to my car and open my 2 suitcases, rummage through all of my clothes and find the card.
He could have complete the sign-in and waited for me to bring him the card. Even if there would have been additional...

”We stayed for our honeymoon before embarking on our cruise to Bermuda out of Norfolk. The port was very close to the Inn.
The Inn is beautiful and so romantic. The area around the Inn had several options for dining. The walkable area was so romantic with its old architecture and cobblestone streets.
I would love to come and stay longer and experience their restaurants and the city of Norfolk. I would highly recommend the Inn to anyone wanting a place that is not a big box type hotel. If...

”This is my home away from home when I travel to Chesapeake. The staff does a fantastic job and are so friendly and welcoming. My bed was super comfortable, and the shower was pretty good for a hotel shower. There was plenty of hot water. I always love the Hampton Inn breakfast. I would have given them a perfect score, but this particular hotel was being remodeled so I couldn't give them 5 stars on the appearance of the exterior of the building.”
