”Me and my partner stayed at the Bathurst Arms for his birthday weekend away and had such a lovely time. The location was fantastic, everywhere we wanted to visit in the Cotswolds was within around 30 minutes, which made it the perfect base for exploring. The food was really nice, the room was clean and quiet, and we especially loved the comfy bed, nice bathroom and great shower. ”Great stay in a lovely hotel. The owner was charming, friendly and fun and gave an excellent display of first class customer service. The food in the restaurant was excellent. We left too early for breakfast so they made up packed breakfasts for us too. Some of the alcoholic drinks in the mini bar are free too! Bed was comfortable and the facilities were clean, tidy, modern and well kept. Parking right outside too.”

”Convenient location in the Cotswolds and able to take a group of five friends in two rooms. Character-filled old and quirky inn. It was a heat wave while we were there but the rooms were quite comfortable with cross breezes and electric fans. The restaurant was hot though, so we opted for the pub in Barrington beside the river instead. Everything was clean and the staff were lovely. It’s a bit noisy beside the road, but not too bad. We were able to trickle charge our car overnight as well.”

”The Market Tavern is a little gem and a very welcome find! Friendly, welcoming and helpful staff, nice room and bar / restaurant. The star of the show is the food which was superb. A small menu but this means everything is good quality. Prices are reasonable - and worth every penny. With many restaurants now asking £35-45 for a steak, my steak at the Market Tavern was just £24. Ok, it wasn't a fillet or a rib-eye, it was a rump (a so called inferior cut!) But the chef here knows that it's about...
