Perfect vacation rental

Beachhouse was way big enough, the pool was right behind the house and it was nice. The walk to the beach from the house was real short!! Awesome place to stay!!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: When we all got together on Saturday, the only problem we had was finding a close pizza place. Each one of us had a place to sleep. I enjoyed the rain shower and the walk-in shower area. I’m disabled, but with the help of my family, I enjoyed the pool, watching my kids play basketball and laughing on the porches. I rented the 2 lower units of duplexes so I would not have stairs to walk.Enjoyed every moment of my stay. We had three outdoor areas to enjoy. My daughter wants to go back next year!!!

Wasn’t the original house

Was given the wrong house key, had to go back to property management for correct key. We were there about 20 minutes and the smoke detectors were beeping( do to dead batteries in several rooms. Management office could use a class in welcoming people. We made the best of it and had a great time but in future I’d use a different management company.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This the first time we stayed in N Myrtle Beach (Cherry Grove) for 3 months. Our stay was wonderful, and we plan to return next year (28 Dec-28 Mar). Our place was just painted, bathrooms were updated, and free washing and drying machine in the back of the unit. We were in a wonderful location (beach just across the road, grocery and shopping near by). The Retreat realty management office was very helpful during our stay. The best part for us was that Retreat was pet friendly. We walk our mini Goldendoodle on the beach every day. There is a very nice pool in the back (but to cold to use in winter months).

Rating Details: The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: it was great except we had neighbors who took advantage of parking. I think you may have to give out parking passes. We were harassed by different renters. We had 3 spaces and we used 2 and still had to park behind our space for 2 vehicles in one parking space . We were the only ones trying to accomadate. Also, it was in our packett to let you know if anything needed repair yes the outside door frame is rotted.

Primm Family Vacation

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a nice time at the beach and enjoyed the pool being right there for the kids to enjoy. The rooms are very small--close quarters for 6 adults and 3 children. The couches in the living area are very worn out and my father who is 86 had a very hard time getting up from them. We had to wash the bed spreads on the beds--they had dog hair on 2 of them. Found bugs in the bathrooms and kitchen. The front door had large gaps. Pat, Jeanne and Bill were are very kind and always responded when I called.

Great Location - Nice Rental

This was our 1st experience renting a "Vacation Rental By Owner" that wasn't managed by the actual owner, but instead by a professional rental company. Our experience was fine, just missing the personal touches of renting from an individual...Keys left in a lock box at the property, information packet about the area, linens, coffee, snacks, etc. We choose to "rent" our linens for an extra fee of $30 per bed, which included towels and washcloths. I was a little disappointed to arrive for a vacation to unmade beds. Who wants to start out a vacation by working? My only suggestion would be to upgrade the bed mattresses. Our vacation was only 3 nights and I'm not sure my 48-year-old back could have taken another night. The younger folks didn't seem to mind the flimsy mattresses. The location was great...just a short walk to the beach, close to shopping, restaurants, and the pier. The pool was great for nighttime swims, and we even played a little basketball. All in all, we had a great stay and enjoyed ourselves!

Okay I guess

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The rental was not as clean as I expected it to be. We dropped an earbud between the wall and bed on the first night so we had to get the broom out to be able to get to it. Was not expecting candy wrappers and half-eaten candy to come with the earbuds. No wonder we saw roaches in the kitchen drawers. Also, the bottom shelf was missing from the fridge which limited the amount of food that could be stored. I did reach out about this and was told that it was on order--so not really their fault. The toilets had some issues but they were fixed pretty quickly.

Nice Reno

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We all really enjoyed our vacation and the renovations made to the house. Everything looked and smelled nice and clean. The house is in a nice quiet and convient location. and we all liked not having to climb stairs. The two bedrooms with only. one bed in them you need to move the bed away from the wall. with two people in them, one person has to climb over the other person or climb out at the fit of the bed. It is also hard to get sheets on the bed and make a up. Another issue is outside, some places need yellow paint to show uneven areas of sidewalks and also in pool area the fence needs to be put back up at the.ramp. That seems to be an accident waiting to happen. I would definitely stay here again. I've already booked it for next year. My little fur babies really liked the yard areas ,and they can't wait till next year. They have already started counting the days.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our rental was one block from the beach. It was spacious and clean. The kitchen had all the supplies needed to prepare meals. There were additional tv’s in every bedroom. There are many great restaurants in the area. There were a few issues that needed to be addressed which the property management attended to immediately. Pat was the best maintenance person who was friendly and always took care of things. One thing we told them when we signed out was we sank low into the couch when sitting so we are hoping for a different couch when we return next year. This was our first time as a snow bird and overall we had a great experience.
