”Loved the atmosphere”

”A sweet spot on the river of an old downtown. We enjoyed glamping in the well-appointed Sycamore tent, and the hosts made a lovely omelette breakfast. We spent the day railbiking at Elk River Rail and an ATV tour with Middleton. It was our first time to West Virginia and we had a great time.”

”This is a beautiful property. I stayed in the lodge and it was quiet and comfortable. It had a main kitchen where you were set up with a coffee pot, filters and coffee, a keurig (bring your own cups) and basically a full kitchen with all appliances available to cook a meal and a table to eat at and read the paper. . The entrance lobby is a big beautiful room and a back porch. The restaurant is good and the staff warm and friendly The fly shop is where you check in and they couldn’t be more...

”Beautiful place with friendly staff.”

”The room was clean, the staff were very nice, but the pictures are a little misleading. I would also suggest having a list of restaurants available in Marlinton since there is no restaurant at the Motor Inn.”

”Maintenance is lacking on the entire property. The bathroom mirror had a nice saying (not family friendly) on it that showed up vividly when steamed over which happened easily since the fan was useless. ”

”It was clean and beautiful. The staff I interacted with were very helpful and kind, but they did not have enough staff in many areas, such as checking and in Muskies. The food was good not great.”

”I stayed in room 8 on a Monday night. The room was clean and quiet which was really good for a light sleeper. However, the two things I did not like was that there really wasn't much space to just put your things down. I was traveling light since it was just an overnight on a two day motorcycle trip. If I had been with my wife with a suitcase, it would not have worked. The shower is very small and the floor is not firm and found it challenging to move around. Luckily I am relatively thin...

”Worked for our quick half stop trip down south for 8 howeverthe place was not clean and one of the rooms had mold and stains on the ceiling. Unusable and disgusting room. Dust was still all over the dressers and fridge was something I wouldn't put any food. Found a cleaning rag in the bed and the floor in the master bedroom was warping with water damage. There was also a musty smell in the entire place. In the end you get what you pay for.”
