”The standard of customer service is exceptional. Staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome. There is a very relaxing lounge area and the Caskieben bar offers an excellent food and drinks menu at reasonable prices. We were particularly impressed by the swimming pool which is perfect for those with young families. The breakfast offer was similarly very good and well organised. We will be back. ”

”Loved my stay at Ferryhill House. The staff was lovely, and the pub restaurant was great. Loved having a drink outside on their patio. I hadn’t realized breakfast was included which was a nice surprise. My room was clean and spacious, the bathroom was especially nice and up-to-date. I walked back to the hotel after dark from the bus station solo and felt perfectly safe. Just a note: It is an older hotel and there isn’t an elevator. ”Reception welcome was great. Evening meal was absolutely delicious (seared monk fish medallions and garlic butter). Room was clean a organised, hot drink facility, full range of clean needing and towels. Easy check out and free parking. Staff were efficient and welcoming. One smallish moan, the shower temperature was intermittent, cool then hot then cool again continually. Took a bit of adjusting to get an acceptable hot AND cool. Great location for business reasons. I will book again.”
