”Stayed here while going to a friends wedding in the local area. Created to really friendly staff and check in was a breeze. The room was compact but had everything we needed, comfy bed and even a little hamper with slippers, teas coffee and milk.
Hotel is above a pub though there’s a separate entrance so coming and going was easy.
Would recommend if you’re near by.”
”Nice little pud with very nice staff, rooms could do with a bit of updating but it’s priced for what it is and the breakfast was excellent, staff all very helpful. ”
”Regular visitor and love the spacious and individuality of the rooms. It also means we can stay without having to have an accessibility room as have walk in shower and plenty of room for walkers etc. Service always exceptional and go the extra mile. Food is also delicious! Great area to walk the dog.”
”Stayed here for 2 nights in July, was not sure what to expect but the staff were an absolute delight! The rooms were spotless and the amenities were well thought out (we had a fan already provided due to the heat!)
We ate in the attached restaurant - was really tasty.
Whilst they didn't have one of the breakfast options (no avocado either morning despite having a huge morrisons down the road!) the breakfast was tasty and well cooked.
Would definitely recommend if you are staying on the Isle...
”Very friendly staff, clean and tidy room, walking distance to sea front one way and main town the other - about 5 minutes.
Breakfast amazing, even M&S zero fat Greek Yoghurt selection and perfect Avocado with lightly poached egg! Full English cooked fresh and looked very appetising.

”Wonderful staff who were very accommodating. We got a free upgrade and enjoyed the view of the sea. We got room service and were served generous portions. Breakfast was delicious! Absolutely would stay here again if I was in the area.”
”I stayed in the hotel for a single night alone during my trip to England. The location is rather remote from the main city centre and the surroundings near the hotel are a bit dodgy, without any services nearby. On the positive side, the Strood train station is very near the hotel, so if using this station the location is very convenient. No reserved parking is available at the hotel, only regular street parking.
