”The location is excellent, close to the casino, and the hotel offers a shuttle to Mohegan Sun, which is very convenient. What truly exceeded my expectations, however, was the service. The two young men at the front desk and the two ladies (unfortunately I can’t remember their names) working the bar and breakfast area were all exceptionally kind and welcoming.”

”Loved everything about our stay from the easy check in to check out. We stayed in the Southwest room. The level of detail was above and beyond from soft Christmas music playing in our room when we entered, the stockings hanging on the fireplace to the candles and little matches around the jacuzzi. Breakfast was great. I can’t truly describe how every little thing was thought of and provided and we were able to truly relax. We will definitely be back. ”

”The House of 1833 is a beautiful old home with an amazing collection of antiques. It is surrounded by old English style gardens. In late September we were a bit too early for fall colors. The owner is delightful and helpful and the food was wonderful! ”

”All stood out. The room was clean, the staff were amazing and quick. When we needed something from the front desk, they were up to our room in less than 5 minutes. Very speedy service. Grat amenities and they had the best breakfast every morning. I'm definately going to stay here again when I come to visit family!!! A++ in my book!!! Oh and Matt, I think his name was, at the front desk, very friendly, got what we needed in a timely manner, and let us know of some things in the area to do. A++...
