”It was a great stay. It was our first time staying at a Bed and Breakfast and will certainly not be our last now with such a great experience we had at the House of 1833. Evan was an exceptional host/chef. He gave us a tour of the home and the history. The breakfast in the morning was incredible from the homemade apple cranberry muffin to the Greek Italian Mac & Cheese Spinach Souffle. We would highly recommend this B&B to anyone looking for a quiet, yet close to town place to stay. ”
”Stayed here for two nights while spending a weekend at the casino. It’s close to Mohegan Sun, only about 12 minutes away and saved me a lot of money. 24 hour mini mart next door too. The husband and wife (owners?) were really kind and friendly. It was quiet, the room was clean, fridge and microwave. It was a great deal and I would definitely stay here again next time I go to the casino overnight rather than pay full weekend rate at the casino which is like $500-600 a night. ”
