Shared a room with three adults during Download festival. Pros: Hotel was conveniently located and everything worked well, staff were friendly and hot shower for everyone. Room was sufficiently spacious to fit three adults and their luggage during a 4 night stay. Cons: Spare bed (cot bed) had some sharp edges and was of course not the most comfortable sleep for 4 nights.

Kulttuuria ja oleilua
Todella hyvä ja monipuolinen aamiainen sekä baarissa tarjolla ollut ruoka. Huone oli siisti, hieman äänet kuului käytäviltä. Keskusta viiden minuutin etäisyydellä ja juna-asema 10 minuutin päässä. Linna ja Robin Hoodin patsas 50 metrin päässä.

Hotel is clean and in a quiet area. We had a big room with perfectly nice bathroom. Would like to see USB charging points in sockets. I assumed most hotels would have these now. Good breakfast but glass roof in dining room dripped! Watch where you sit! Overall a pleasant stay.

Really handy to visit the sights in Nottingham. Short walk into the town. Ground floor and bar very lush looking. The room was nice, shame only one English teabag in the room. The views from the room was not great, one overlooked the car park, the other faced another building. However was quiet at night time. Although the hotel has a car park there are only actually 10 places, and there is a cost. We had to use the NCP carpark next door which added £30 to our weekend stay. But was nice not to have to worry about using the car. having said that if you are prepared for that it was a good location, right near the Castle . The caves in town are definitely worth seeing and the tour guide there was really good. We had a good weekend and will visit Nottingham again.

Small room but fine. Electric meter buzz all night so I had to turn it off in the end. Needs a lick of paint as walls grubby . Only one tea bag! Staff nice. Reception area nice.

Mediocre
The structure seemed worn out and exhausted. The room was tiny with no sound isolation whatsoever. The toilet was poorly placed. The breakfast was subpar. The staff appeared unmotivated and indifferent. Overall, it was well below average. I won't be returning.

Nice hotel and right next to Castle and very close to city centre. So location was great! I was on 6th floor so there is a walk up a flight of stairs from the lift which stops at the 5th floor- which I didn’t mind but worried about people with mobility issues perhaps. Room was very clean, shower was great and the bed was amazing- I slept so well. The room is a little small for the price but otherwise ok.

Room was clean and super comfortable. Friendly, helpful staff. With prices going up everywhere they are still very reasonable. On the doorstep of Nottingham Castle and few minutes from shopping.

First room had a cracked sink and a toilet that didn’t flush, but the lovely staff were able to move me to a different room that was in MUCH better condition.

Chilly room!
The room was fine, with a great view, but the only heating was a fan heater which had to be manually turned on and made the air very dry. The bathroom had no form of heating whatsover and was freezing! It was a cold night and the windows were covered in condensation in the morning. When the weather is warmer it would be much more comfortable!

Beautiful hotel in a lovely position. Has a classy individual feel which is rare in the hotel world. Breakfast was really superb.

An overnight stay for four adults. We have stayed here before & find the staff very friendly & the hotel very clean, from the inviting entrance to the bedrooms. Breakfast is low key & self service, though despite the hotel being quiet when we stayed, there was a choice of cooked & cold breakfasts, toast, juice & hots drinks

Good location
Stayed for a late night out. Requested quiet room and got one at end of corridor- but doors still banged in the morning. Great location, small but functional room. Comfy bed, very small bathroom. Carpets a little worn, ready for a coat of paint but decent enough- cobwebs on the pillars in reception. Didn’t have breakfast as very close to loads of good food places. Was able to leave bag when checked out. Staff helpful but didn’t ask for much.

Everything was lovely except the noisy lift and our room must have had an adjoining wall next to the lift which was very busy but we eventually got used to it and managed to go to sleep - it sounded like a train! I would happily stay again but make sure the room was well away from the lift
