”This is our second time staying here. We have a dogs with us, and room are clean. Breakfast was good, so was coffee at lobby. Our view from our room was fantastic looks like some place in Asia. We will come back and stay again.”

”I checked into my room at 8:30p, the desk clerk gave me the key and said they were leaving. I went to the room and the HVAC unit was in front of the room on the ground, it wasnt terribly cold but there was a hole in the wall now. a technician came to the room at 9:30pm to install the new hvac, I made him leave at 10.”

”It’s a charming one of a kind place for those who appreciate history and antiques. It’s also walking distance from trains, restaurants and minutes from the glass beach. You can hear the ocean one one side and steam engines from the other! Don’t forget to climb the tower, walk to Glass museum, and visit Piaci’s for awesome pizza and local hard cider!”

”Such a cute location, however the motel has seen better days when staying in the parking lot location. Floors are sloping..its very old. I'd like to try the harbor rooms which are below the Wharf Restaurant”

”Name had changed from what I had booked. The room was dirty, drain broken and downright depressing. Stayed one night since I didn't have another option and booked a different hotel. Terrible. The only highlight was there was a restaurant out front. That's it.”

”The staff was friendly and went above and beyond. It was extremely quiet for being next to the highway. We can’t say enough about how comfortable the mattress was, it was a nice surprise!”

”The best thing about this motel was the front desk staff. I didn't catch the lady's name, but she was amazing. Our first night, the bright lights in the parking area in the front of the motel, were on all night, lighting up our room. The lady at the front desk was so kind and thoughtful when we requested a different room in the back of the motel, for our second night's stay. The second night was fine; the room was even larger than the first one. Kudos to Motel 6 for hiring some amazing staff!”

”Well I’m going to start with a positive…. Great parking and easy access to the main rd thru Fort Bragg. Within walking distance to a few bfast spots and or coffee shops. Which was nice since we had been on motorcycles all day.. Now let’s get into the negatives As many other people have advised if you actually read the reviews. lol. We didn’t…. The hotel is old, dingy, moldy, dirty. What they need to do is close down during winter, since that is the slow season for Fort Bragg. Or...

”My husband, dog, and I stayed at Mendocino Cove during their soft opening in June 2026. The property was so peaceful, pet-friendly, and extremely clean. It was a little zen oasis between Fort Bragg and Mendocino. It was so convenient to have to have pickleball courts to play at anytime, and the private beach was an absolute gem. From staying in room 3, it was nice to have a little semi-private patio looking into the garden, too. It was really nice to sleep in a bed where I couldn't feel my...

”Everything was perfect. The bed was comfortable, shower was hot, microwave and fridge very handy, spectacular view, excellent location, friendly people…couldn’t ask for much more.”

”This hotel was great!! The amenities and staff were wonderful. The room was on the ocean and we could hear the waves rolling in during the night. The room was pretty big too and had a microwave and fridge. Also coffee machine with coffee was provided. I loved this location. There was also a restaurant and pool on site. I would def reccommend this hotel and would stay here again.”

”I loved the beachfront part of it. The balconies were so cute and accessible and personal:). They had very accessible parking and it was very quiet and relaxing. The only thing is the room could have been a bit cleaner and they told us they don’t have daily room service and if you need anything to ask. It was great vibes and it is no smoking so keep that in mind even though there is a balcony:)”
