Odotimme korkeatasoisempaa hotellihuonetta koska le meridien hotelli. Huone oli synkkä väreiltään ja vähän valoa ulkoa. Ikkunat huonosti äänieristetyt ja yölliset äänet kadulta kuuluivat huoneeseen häiritsevästi.

Loistava sijanti ja hintalaatusuhde
Loistosijainti aivan rautatieaseman ja julkisten liikennevälineiden pysäkkien vieressä vanhan kaupungin rajalla. Huone oli kuitenkin rauhallinen. Itse huone oli melko pieni, mutta toisessa kahdesta huoneestamme iso kylpyhuone, toisessa pieni. Huoneessa kaikki siistiä ja uutta. Silitysrautaa ei ollut huoneessa eikä kahvin/teenkeitintä. Erittäin tasokkaat liinavaatteet. Aamiainen ei kuulunut hintaan, olisi ollut kallis, mutta hyvin lähellä oli edullinen aamiaispaikka. Hintalaatusuhteeltaan erinomainen hotelli. Huoneessa oli myös voucher kahdelle hotellin baariin cappucinolle tai espressolle. Yöpyisin jatkossakin Meridienissä, jos tulen kaupunkiin.

Excellent location but ...
Old, somewhat worn hotel with loose or falling equipment on the walls. First waiting for a belated room, then getting a standard room instead of a junior suite (prize 50 % of the paid junior suite), then looking for missing four of seven luggages, then getting a strangely designed room of seemingly right category but air conditioning not working, at last a good room with insufficient air conditioning. There was a minibar but the glases disappeared soon. Only one of two keys was working, neither after the first day. Slow, expensive Internet. Fine location, would serve as a good 3 star or common 4 star hotel if the main problems were fixed.

We were in 7 countries in 30 days. Hotel was the 2nd worst. Dark decor was depressing, the rooms were smallest we had on trip for like priced hotels. The location is good but that is about all the good I can say. Everything else very average.

Le Meridien was excellent. Less expensive than some in the area. Staff was wonderful and location was excellent.

This is a wonderful traditional facility. Very comfortable beds and variety of rooms. Restaurant including breakfast is excellent. Good fitness room and excellent sauna. Old town is very entertaining to walk and enjoy food and drink.

Not impressed
Air conditioner was not working in the room. As we checked in late we did not realize until we weee getting ready for bed. When we told them on the morning no apology not even recognition that this was a problem. Will not stay here again

i was very disapointed the menu for dining was limited....no fish, or pasta, only hamburgers, and the steak which i did enjoy but i would have liked fish one night...i ate dinner every night there....staff was curtious, and i received my meal timely....i was happy to see vegan on the menu by the way : ))

Unser Zimmer war bei der Ankunft nicht sauber: Im Bad hatte es Fussabdrücke und Haare am Boden und in diesem Zimmer wurde vor unserer Ankunft geraucht. Wir haben an der Reception reklamiert. Es wurde uns besserung gelobt aber ein anderes Zimmer wurde uns nicht gegeben, da das Hotel ausgebucht gewesen sei. Aber gereinigt wurde nicht! auch nicht am andern Tag. Nein, Die Putzfrau hat einfach die Betten wieder gemacht ohne die Bezüge zu wechseln......Wahrscheinlich schläft der nächste Gast noch immer drin.....

Mycket trevligt samt anrikt hotell
Jag har bott på detta hotell många gånger de senaste 20 åren och har aldrig blivit besviken. Bra standard, något slitna rum, mycket god service samt bra frukost. Personalen är mycket serviceinriktade och trevliga.

Great location and hotel
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Le Meridien. Clean rooms with great AC for the hot months. Super close to the city center and sites to walk and enjoy. Parking is a bit clunky, so be prepared for that but overall it was a great place to be and would highly recommend.

Hotel is nice and clean in comparison to others in Nuremberg. I had a deluxe room but its certainly not deluxe by deluxe standards. Area is located convenient to all. Staff could be just a little friendly but I suppose its a German protocol to be firm and cold.

eine gute Empfehlung
Sehr schönes Hotel zwischen Bahnhof und Altstadt. Alles ist problemlos und zu Fuß erreichbar. Ruhiges und gut ausgestattetes Zimmer; sehr leckeres und vielseitiges Frühstück. Einzige Kritik: Der Verdunkelungsvorhang im Zimmer verdunkelt nicht komplett. Von daher wird es dann morgens früh hell im Zimmer. Ansonsten aber sehr empfehlenswert !!!

We had a "delux room, 1 king bed" but found the room and the bathroom quite small. With someone sitting at the desk it was not possible to walk around the bed. Also the hotel invoice and the Expedia quote were difficult to reconcile as the hotel charged breakfast separately (Expedia quoted breakfast as included), and the hotel includes tax in the rate while Expedia quotes tax separately. The hotel is convenient for walking into the walking streets of the old town.
