”This was our first stay at McMillan Inn. It was somewhat of an unplanned trip and just by chance we booked one night here. Jackpot!! We booked the Montgomery Room and it was like a storybook dream. The clawfoot tub, the king bed with fireplace, huge windows, and on and on. The property is magical. Sitting on the front porch swing at night with a glass of wine is worth the stay. Chelsea greeted us when we arrived and helped us find parking and then gave us a tour. Of course there were fresh baked...

”Exactly as described with a few pleasant surprises like wine and cheese cocktail hour and a delicious breakfast of sweet waffles with praline syrup, and savory sausage and potatoes out in the courtyard. Loved the Oglethorpe room plus Charles was very knowledgeable about the homes history - way better than google! Street parking (payment required 8am-5pm) was a bit tricky but staff was very helpful in guiding us! Savannah is definitely walkable from this home. Highly recommend!”

”A beautiful hotel. The room was excellent - very spacious and comfortable. Everyone on staff was great. This hotel is within walking distance to most of downtown Savannah. I would definitely stay there again.”

”Good location. Good price. Overall, staff was friendly. Breakfast was scheduled to begin at 6:30am on weekdays, but was late which affected people attending an event. Room was dated, and bathtub had stains. Slight issue at checkout with not getting folio (they said it would be emailed) and I had to call later to get this completed. ”

”While it is an older building, the room could have been cleaner (for example: base boards were dirty, chipping paint sitting on the windowsills). Front desk staff is very nice and helpful. The pillows do leave a lot to be desired; they are foam and not comfortable for us. There is a water jar in the lobby, which is nice, little plastic cups you can fill and take. ”

”Beautiful location on the river with really comfortable rooms and within walking distance of anything you might need. My husband and I particularly enjoyed the daily happy hour where Brad provided excellent service and we met other folks staying at the inn.”
