”Lovely stay great breakfast”

”The room was very clean and tidy! Staff are very friendly, the breakfast is amazing very filling! And the parking is very easy too access but when there are a few guests staying the car park can get very tight, overall really good and best bit its only 17 mins drive too Alton towers from there ”

”This place is quaint but not super welcoming. The cottage was cute but not the comfiest beds. We didn’t get a code to check in and didn’t realise the reception would be unmanned. The continental breakfast was a bit odd - self service without clear instructions. Wasn’t all put out at 8am and then a girl came and brought some more things. Had to make our own coffee. ”

”The Family Tree is wonderful. There aren’t many places we would make a point of going back to but we will go back to The Family tree. Breakfast excellent ; staff, and we single out Linda because she went the extra mile to help us, are great. ”

”Stayed here in February. Check-in was quiet, staff are friendly and helpful. Our room was number 5 and was beautiful with modern equipment. It nice and warm in our room throughout our stay. No need to go out, just get parked and have your evening meal in the pub/restaurant, I can recommend the fish & chips. If you are looking for accommodation in this area, I would definitely recommend Pack Horse. ”

”Historic hotel in great location for visiting the gardens and the opera house. Large room with good enough facilities. Good early dinner in the bar with attentive staff. We had a late breakfast at a busy time; reasonable choice. Metal serving spoons under the hot canopy were too hot to use; coffee was weak.”

”The property itself was lovely. However, during my two day stay, the water temperature in my room's en suite bathroom was cold, and then tepid, both for the basin and shower. The shower water pressure was also very poor. Finally, I had early starts on both mornings, and the fire alarm went off in my bedroom due to "steam" from the bathroom.
