The good: Most of the staff was nice. Our rooms were ready upon check in. We only got food poisoning once. The gym was cleaner than the common areas. They have a very nice stretch of beach you don't get at other resorts.
The bad: The beds are as hard as rocks... if you like stone beds you'll love these. Also the linens are old and tattered. The pillows are all flat and smell strange. I woke up every day achy and sore from the mattress. The rooms are large but the bathrooms are very small. The water pressure is weak, and when you're in the shower the water temp goes from ice to scalding in a second... over and over. Taking a shower is not pleasant.
The Ugly: the pools aren't the cleanest, lots of children with diapers floating around in them. the public bathrooms are worse than a bus station, gross, unclean, and un tended. the pools have that gunky ring around them. We stuck to the ocean. We all got skin rashes from something, not sure what. You can't check out online, or through the TV, or by phone. You must trapise down to the lobby and get your bracelet cut off. Thats it. But to do so, you get to wait in line for 30-45 mins waiting because there is only 1 front desk person on at a time. Ridiculous.
No's : no lotion in the room, no drinks in the room (fridge is empty), no hair dryer, no other perks in the bathroom. you get soap, and shampoo in a dispenser that constantly falls off the wall. There is no hand sanitizer in common areas. There is no sunbloc
