Terrible Host

Terrible host – avoid at all costs.Right from the start, this host failed. I had to pull over at the guard shack because he never sent the access code. Only after sending him a photo of my ID — which VRBO later confirmed was not required — did he give it to me. Then, instead of the home I actually booked, he sent me to a different property without explanation, just saying he owned several homes.Once inside, two TVs didn’t work and there was no hot water. He said he’d send someone but ignored multiple calls. We went two full days with cold showers before I had to contact a city inspector to get it resolved. He never addressed the TV issue. Even VRBO was shocked by how little he seemed to care.This host is careless, unresponsive, and completely unprofessional. I wouldn’t stay at any property tied to his name.

Reached out a week ahead to make sure we would receive check-in information before arriving. We read the previous bad reviews and it caused concern. Arrived and never received check-in information. Called, texted, left voicemails. No return call or message. No check-in information. Had to call VRBO customer service who also attempted to reach out. They refunded our money because no one answered after several attempts. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS PROPERTY.

When I booked the house I thought everything would be ok. First the communication was horrible it would take days for a response when I had questions about something. I had asked for early check in which I was granted and paid 150 for just for the house to be rushed cleaned. I would of preferred them to declined early check in to have a functional house. When we arrived we discovered the toliet was messed up and he did inform us about that. I then discovered that we had no hot water and he wasn't responding to my messages. I had to contact the cleaning company to address the issue. He claimed the prior people didn't say anything if thats to be true get someone out immediately to fix the problem. We never had hot water to bath it it was ice cold.Who wants a house with not not water. Then the pool was green and slimmy we planned to swim on the hot beautiful Saturday and couldn't. When he finally responded it was 4pm and he said use the next door pool it was to late and we were over the thought. This house has great potential the ownwer needs to be more responsive when the renters aske questions. They need to inspect the house because it was alot of things broken or not functional in the home.

Customer Service Needs Improvement

We arrived at the location at 3:50 PM. We had not received our gate or door information yet but was able to make it to the house via a back gate that was open. We were told that they were behind on cleaning so we could not go in. They assured us that it would only be about another hour. We told them we would wait in the parking lot becuase we had a wreck on the way to our vacation and did not want to leave. It was about 6 PM with some pressuring before we got the codes to get in. The place was not that clean and needed some additional care. Towels and rags were not available in all bathrooms and most ran out of toilet paper after the first night. We were visiting for the amusement parks so we were literally just using location for sleeping. Had there been some additional care taken prior to our arrival, it would have been a much better experience.

The property manager never gave us the code to the house leaving us stranded at the airport. He first said I tried to book same day, then he said he didn’t have a reservation for us, then said that it’s a maintenance issue where they couldn’t accommodate. After all of that, he tried to say that they don’t allow large bookings AFTER ACCEPTING the booking a month prior. Property manager got really rude & stopped answering the phone for VRBO and we never got the chance to stay at this property. DO NOT BOOK THIS PROPERTY
