Everything about this hotel was absolutely excellent. 1. Room: it was the average size of a USA hotel...which is big for Japan. The bed was very comfortable with nice amenities such as slippers and water with ample types of toiliteries. 2. Staff: absolutely the best. Everyone is so courteous and helpful in a very Japanese manner. Staff in this hotel is very functionally fluent in English which was a big difference from my experience in Tokyo. 3. If you enjoy hot spring water, the Asian style hot spring is such a plus. For me, it was the best part of my stay here. Everyone adheres to the rules which makes this experience very serene abd peaceful. The hotel provides all guests with robes that one can wear around the hotel and the hot spring area. 4. Breakfast: The coffee machine is self served wirh fresh geound coffee which was strong enough for Starbucks addicted American like myself. The food was well prepared with heavy slant towards fresh Japanese breakfast items....which I welcomed. There are western pasteries but dont expect a full on Western bkfast food.
I have become a fan of Dormny Inn and am planning to stay in Dormny whenever I visit Japan and Korea.
