The Eryri National Park (Snowdonia) is about 8 miles west, with Bala, a centre for outdoor activities, 16 miles. Closer to home, Lake Vyrnwy is only 8.5 miles away, where you can stroll peacefully around the lake while spotting wildlife. The incredible Pistyll Rhaedr Waterfall is another must-see, just 6 miles away, while the charming market town of Oswestry is just 15 miles away.
