”The room was very clean and looked like it was recently renovated. There were also no odors, which is important to us as we are allergic to pets and dislike the smell of smoke. I personally liked that the room didn’t have carpeting as it made for a cleaner floor. The motel is on a semi busy street so there is some street noise but the motel was thoughtful enough to provide ear plugs for those who needed it. There are also limited parking spots that’s offered on a first come first served basis....

”The absolute best bed & breakfast in San Francisco! Cleanest rooms, friendliest and most attentive staff, great location, most delicious breakfasts and snacks/baked goodies throughout the day. Our son graduated from USF this past Saturday and we’ve consistently stayed here. On our next trip to S.F., just to visit and explore more we’ll stay there again!”

Pro: Location Walking distance to SF Zoo and beach. Excellent coffee/breakfast/sandwich shop steps away. Target store and Lucky grocery store nearby Close to SFSU campus, Park Merced and Stonestown Mall. Taraval Street is a couple blocks north of the Mirage Inn and along this street you will find restaurants, bars, karaoke, coffee...

”Bedbugs. Completely stained bed cover. Hair in the sheets. Next to a loud bar. Dirty in general. I found a bed bug and got a refund and stayed somewhere else. Yes, it’s cheap but I wouldn’t sleep here for free.”

”It has good location on quiet street. Free parking. Excellent service on front desk. The hotel was dated, but pretty clean. Earplugs are must. Breakfast is free, it includes coffee, bread, eggs and cereals. The hotel bit pricey for value, but i think in SF it might be difficult to find good hotels for decent price. Overall this is OK place for few days stay ”

”Will never be staying here again — got no sleep, the walls were paper thin. The rooms were super worn out that the walls were peeling and there was a lot of strange stains on the carpet. Someone even left a piece of gum in the floor that no one cleaned up. The staff was great, really friendly.”

”I had a lovely stay at Hotel Kabuki. Staff were friendly and helpful and check-in was a breeze. The room was super comfortable, decorated nicely, and had a great city view. The only minor observation is that the desk was very worn, with the stain scratched off the places where you have the most wear. The location is excellent; I appreciated being in a central location with easy travel to other parts of the city. There's tons of shopping and dining nearby or an easy walk away.”
