”Expedia and Google say the hotel has AC however it does not! Bed was firm, we had a small rotating fan, and frankly it was difficult to sleep. Large bathtub, but no standing shower.
Overall cute little place, but far away from frequent bus stops if traveling to Oxford and the lack of AC, although other sites say it has it, were the biggest letdowns.
Nice bar scene in the evening though! Staff was friendly and food and drinks were on point!”

”The historic building is simply beautiful, very charming, and well-restored. The room was spacious, and the bathroom was well-equipped. The service in the restaurant was very friendly but extremely slow. The food was rather mediocre. Breakfast was actually quite poor. There was barely a tablespoon of yogurt with the granola, and the toast was cold and hard like rusk. The location itself is beautiful.”

Not to mention the previous guests dirty towels and sheets were left in a heap in the middle of the floor. At £200 per night excluding breakfast I expect much much better. Very disappointing.”

”I booked a room, which turned out to be very cold. I booked this premium hotel to be comfortable, and I wasn't. I called about this in the evening and they came to fix it. I also called in the morning, but no one came.
I might be old-fashioned, but back in the day there would be immediate compensation for a satisfactory resolution, i.e. free breakfast. Something like this would have made up for the issue, but nothing was offered. Feels like "thank you for your £200+, we dont care how it was...
