”Expedia and Google say the hotel has AC however it does not! Bed was firm, we had a small rotating fan, and frankly it was difficult to sleep. Large bathtub, but no standing shower.
Overall cute little place, but far away from frequent bus stops if traveling to Oxford and the lack of AC, although other sites say it has it, were the biggest letdowns.
Nice bar scene in the evening though! Staff was friendly and food and drinks were on point!”

”The historic building is simply beautiful, very charming, and well-restored. The room was spacious, and the bathroom was well-equipped. The service in the restaurant was very friendly but extremely slow. The food was rather mediocre. Breakfast was actually quite poor. There was barely a tablespoon of yogurt with the granola, and the toast was cold and hard like rusk. The location itself is beautiful.”

”We were very pleased with our accommodations at the Crown Hotel. It has been recently renovated so everything was clean and bright and functioning. It also had good AC. The room was spacious and had a desk, chair and wardrobe. The beds were comfortable, not too soft. The desk clerk was very friendly and helpful. The location was near restaurants and shops including grocery stores. There were several buses running frequently to the city Centre. However, younger people could easily walk.”

Not to mention the previous guests dirty towels and sheets were left in a heap in the middle of the floor. At £200 per night excluding breakfast I expect much much better. Very disappointing.”
