”I cannot recall leaving a review before however, our experience was one I do not wish to repeat.
We booked a suite. It really was not worth the money. Tired, shabby & with air conditioning that sounded like a struggling car engine.
The bed however was very comfortable but overpriced.
The receptionists on both days were lovely & very welcoming.
Breakfast was terrible, by 9.20am pastries had ran out, no water & they got our order wrong. When it was finally served the toast wasn’t toasted, it...

”My cousin and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Area was nice and clean. Fortunate to get good weather to enjoy the grounds. Got to see horse dressage and the breakfast was enjoyable. Saw peacocks, birds, sheep, and the dog. We had both the veggie and non-veg option. Uber was our mode of transport- each trip into town was between 15-20 GBP. Nice pub within walking distance. Excellent city break. Would highly recommend.”

”A truly delightful hotel in a convenient location with excellent staff and facilities. Impossible to fault overall - 2 tips… dont park under the trees in front of the building. I dont know what the birds eat, but they eat A LOT of it. Then theres steps….pack light, you’ll be hauling your luggage up a LOT of steps :-) - its a 13th century manor house, lifts werent a “thing” !”

”Badic accommodation. Poor value for money. A pub with rooms. You could smell the fried chips when you opened the door in the car park. The staff were jobs worth and not welcoming.
Poorly maintained property which felt grubby. My room had a sash window broken so couldn't open it. Only good thing were the bath towels and good mattress. Pillows awful. Make sure you don't have a room on the front of the hotel as the noise from the road is continous through the night. I would not stay there...
