Sure back in the US we have products such as Arizona Green tea but I know now that is not green tea, they can not even claim it to be green tea “flavored”. It took a bit to warm up to the true flavor of green tea but now that I have I could never go back to any kind of imitation. If you are a green tea fan such as myself, there is one place you must visit if in Northern Thailand and that is Choui Fong Tea Plantation. Here, on this huge green tea plantation, you can enjoy green tea at the source. Great homestay in the hills peace and tranquility in nature
We stayed for 3 nights and visited a few attractions from this as a base. The house was everything it said it would be and Simon was attentive and helpful at every stage. He even rented us his own car !
