”Great location, very kind staff who work hard to create a charming unique hotel in busy Thamel area. Courtyard is lovely. Breakfast options are delicious. Staff are very helpful and patient. Like the suggestions for walks, restaurants, etc that hotel sent out as well. Highly recommend”

”One of the best hotels Ive encountered in over a month of traveling! Very well maintained and a very kind and helpful staff. Up to Western standards for anybody traveling from abroad who have high expectations in terms of cleanliness and enclosed showers that doesnt get the bathroom totally soaked which a huge plus for me. Would highly recommend this hotel to all travelers who seek comfort and hospitality! I had a wonderful stay!”

”It was very pleasant stay for us in Jay suites. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Hotel location on the edge of hectic Thamel is perfect, in my opinion. For the money we paid, we got great amount of return.”

”Great service, owner is amazing and very helpful with all the travel arrangements. Would definitely stay again. Location is great in Thamel.”

”I first used the hotel in 2009 and was very happy with it, so it was easy to go back this second time. Ganesh Himal's staff is very helpful and always smiling. The room was cleaned daily and I like the fact that it is not in central Thamel with all the hawkers. So I would recommend using the hotel.”

”Good room, wifi and breakfast”

”It was a great stay with clean room, good service and kind staff.”

”Ashish at reception is like a maestro/ making sure everything is working, guests are happy, etc. he does an awesome job! He has done challenges to work with, such as excessive noise from within the hotel due to an open staircase. It starts about 6:30 am with Oreo for Brfk down in the lobby ( all way up to higher levels) and really continues all day. Noise from outside is minimal. Breakfast is a nice selection. Bathroom is very small- two people don’t fit. Needs a bit of sprucing up; water noise...

”A lovely stay in an historic hotel. Staff was absolutely wonderful, thoughtful and accommodating.”

”The staff was amazing! Extremely helpful and kind. I know it is an older hotel and the use of water is a concern in Nepal. The toilets and sink tend to run a long time. No worries for us but just a concern for water conservation. I would definitely stay here again!”

”Kaikki toimi moitteetta. Erittäin ystävällisiä ihmisiä ja palvelu mainiota”

”Staff was great, I had my room in the highest floor and it was good. Breakfast was ok, gym and sauna good and poolnwas a definite plus. Also the chocolate cake was great, highly recommended”
