”We stayed 8 nights at the Inn. Staff was polite when met and cleaners visited the rooms every day.
Location-price combination is great and it’s short enough trip to downtown or northern shore of the bay - so great place to start and end daily trips in that area.
If you are travelling with car, it’s good to know that parking is free of charge - even thought the parking spots are rather tight for average US cars.
Few things were little unpleasant on our stay:

”My stay at Hotel Drisco was wonderful! Extremely helpful and courteous staff, impeccable rooms with every amenity, and a lovely breakfast and evening wine/cocktail hour. Located in an upscale, quiet neighborhood, but still walking distance to dining, shopping, site seeing, etc. Hotel Drisco exceeds many of the 5-star sites in San Francisco and parallels 5-star European stays. Impressive!”

”The Evergreen is a jewel. Small, modern, comfy and overall clean. We especially appreciated the quietness. Our bed was comfortable. They don’t offer breakfast but our room had a Nespresso machine and the lobby has one also, as well as a flavored water machine. There is also a Peet’s coffee shop right by them.
On the negative side, we did have trouble navigating to and from I think because of their location or perhaps because we aren’t familiar with the San Francisco area. The shower temperature...
